Minor P D 1.

1 Thomas’s Lead The Way To Montelle. Just 7 months and very promising with a nice outline and good head, best of fronts and good legs with neat feet BOSP.

P D 2.

1 Lead The Way To Montelle

2 SimonsSaredon Red Berry another all quality puppy also with neat feet, more mature at 10 months but preferred the front of the winner.

J D3 (1).

1 Seabridge & Goddard’s Ch Sujoncla Little Powder With Oudenarde.  Very striking all round, especially noted good quarters and stifle bend. Small things in the balance decided the final outcome  - unruly ears the left one in particular would not stay folded down also preferred  the expression of the CC winner RCC.

2 McGhie’s Saredon No Trouble at Keillor. Lot to like about this dog, I thought him slightly lightly built though still time to improve further with maturity–was unlucky to meet the winner.

PG 1.

1 Saredon No Trouble At Keillor

LD 2 (1).

1 Bamsey’s Holbam Celtic Warrior. Very much liked this dog but unfortunately he was a bit spooked when I dropped my glasses and didn’t show himself to advantage. In the best of coat and condition, great outline and correct ears.

OD 1.

1 Cook’s Ch Montelle Carvelious Gold CC BOB. The first thing to say is he is a big lad - but elegant with it and in no way coarse but a lovely racy outline . Well muscled up, very refined head with virtually no stop, classic well carried ears.

VD 1.

1 Hardman’s Bonosue Eric the Red Sh.C.M. Poor old lad –getting on for 12 and not in coat and lacking  muscle tone but moved round the ring well enough to win himself a bag of food.

MPB 2.

1 Howarth & Looker’s Kells Hot Tempest (NAF) Shown in the best of coat and condition, like her a lot, very sound, nice outline with neck and shoulders blending nicely into back to produce excellent top line. Preferred the neater ears of the best puppy. The small  amount of white on one side of chest is slightly distracting.

2 Cook’s Royal Lady At Montelle (TAF) Very promising puppy but at just 6 months giving a lot away on maturity. Lead her handler a merry dance all the way round the ring but better that at this stage than being ring shy.

PB 3 (1).

1 Pratt’s Saredon Leading Lady of Terrijay.  8 months old –told this was her first time out so a good start to her show career. Very sound movement, typical Irish racy outline, excellent bend of stifle. Lovely head and ears. BPIS.

2  Royal Lady at Montell.

3 O’Brien’s Sonorra Crimson Claris.

JB 3.

1 Bamsey’s Holbam Celtic Miss Chief.  Lovely dark ears which the standard requires but are not so often seen nowadays, best of fronts when she stands correctly but not showing herself to best advantage  today.

2  Price’s Magairlin Black Magic Woman . In good coat and condition and looking the part, just preferred the front of the winner.

3 Sonorra Crimson Claris.

NB 1,

1 Royal Lady At Montelle (TAF)

PGB 3 (1)

1 Atkin’s  Holbam Celtic Summer. Upstanding dog with excellent neck and shoulders. Particuarly noted the most excellent pigment throughout and very neat feet.

2 Wortley’s Jarabica Tiger Lily. Nice enough Irish -sound and typical but head appearance could be improved with trimming.

LB 6 (3)

1 Price’s Magairlin Adhmor Queen. The picture on website dosen’t completely do her lovely head expression justice. Appearance of top line could be improved by taking a little more hair off shoulder top line to blend in more smoothly. Very pleasing to judge another one with the racy appearance we are looking for in Irish. RCC

2 Hardman’s  Bonosue Painted Lady 3 Ruffles Holbam Celtic Whisper at Ruffmar JW

OB 7 (4)

1 Grant & Hemmings Courtington Storm Angel. Good legs and neat feet complimented with a good bend of stifle. Lovely head and ears and acceptable bite. Overall top quality bitch, racy appearance with outstanding neck and shoulders good quarters and straight Front.  Told this CC makes her up CC RBIS

2 Hardman’s Bonosue Whippersnapper  In good coat and condition. Particularly noted her good front.

3 Davis Bonosue Red Wych

VB 2.

1 Ruffles Ruffmar Bronzed Ballerina. Someone has gone to considerable trouble preparing this old lady for the show, in very good coat and condition and showed well. She’s a credit to her owner.  BV

2 O’Keith’s Montelle She’s A Lady Also turned out in very good coat and condition and a credit to her owner but just preferred the front of the winner.
