IRISH JUDGE RICHMOND 16

Irish Terriers

Thank you to the secretary & committee of Richmond for inviting me to judge the Irish Terriers.

V (1)

1 Bradley’s Ch Montelle Mi’Lady, a lovely bitch in fantastic condition, difficult to believe she is 13 years of age. Every bit the show lady & could teach many of the younger dogs today a thing or two about showing, she will continue to win veteran classes.

PD (2,1a)

1 Nichols’ Chantelle’s Major Finnbar, an up to size boy, whose ears were a little wayward today, good layback of shoulder & well boned, would benefit from a little road work to help develop & tone up the muscle.

JD (2)

1 Bradley’s Montelle I’m Here Too, a nice sized boy, in very good condition & with good layback of shoulders, which was born out by the good reach of neck with a lovely arch, well boned & a lovely overall shape, moved well;

2 Nichols’ Major Finnbar.

PGD (1)

1 RBD, Anderson’s Kerrykeel Ruaraidh, a young man with a very racy outline, good strong muscle behind which was well developed, a long reach of neck with a good arch in it, a very good bite, also a very good head which was shown off by his excellent expression, would just like a little more body on him.

OD (1)

1 BD & BOB, Cooke’s Montelle Carvillius Gold, a young man in very good condition who showed himself very well today. This young man has very good bone & the body & muscle on him to back it up. He moved very well today with drive, a very good reach of neck & well laid back shoulders, lovely bite & good expression, really impressed me today.

PB (3)

1 BP & BB, Hemmings & Grant’s Courtington Storm Angel, a very nice sized bitch with a very strong coat on her, very nice ears used really well today, good bone structure & muscletone a lovely tailset, a good reach of neck, nice deep chest, moved with drive & maturity for her age, her maturity made her stand out today, very well presented;

2 Nichols’ Chantalles Mairead, not the shoulders of 1, very nice tailset, & again a good coat presented well, good depth of chest & good bones, a little nervous on the move today, hopefully will settled down with experience.

PGB (1)

1 Anderson’s Kerrykeel Brianna, a very nice young lady with very good ears used to perfection today, a racy outline with a very good tailset, good coated bitch, would like a little more facial furnishings. Well boned & very nice on the move.

OB (4)

1 RBB, Barker & Averis’s Ch/Am Ch Irvonhill Leave It To Me, a very well presented lady with a very nice coat on her, a very good layback of shoulder, a very nice tailset with plenty behind her, well placed ears & moved well, she was the RBB today behind the puppy bitch who just stole it on movement;

2 Bradshaw’s Ch Holbam Pearly Star, a well made girl, not quite the coat of 1. Well placed ears, good deep chest, very nice tailset, good bone, just lacked a little drive from behind on the move.
