A pleasing quality entry, ear carriage in general has improved, coat texture is good and presentation of a high standard. Whilst there were no cracked pads there were rather too many poor flat feet.

Puppy Dog 2 (1 abs)

1. Bradley’s Montelle Strike a Vision, 10month quality pup with good head ears and expression. Good overall make and shape, does not need to grow on, moved well behind but hackneyed in front. Fore feet a little flat.

Junior Dog 2 (1 abs)

1. Bradley’s Montelle Royal Leader, big impressive quality dog, balanced throughout. Long lean head with good ears, correct expression, good reach of neck. Good harsh coat. Lovely racy outline, moved straight and true. CC.

Post Graduate Dog 1

1. Hulton’s Newguild Pride, smart dog of correct size. A little thick through skull but good expression. Good coat and moved well enough.

Limit Dog 1

1. Cook’s Montelle Ring Master at Terrahawk, big dog of sound construction. Good length of head but rather bold eye, which did not give correct expression. Moved parallel but lacked drive.

Open Dog 3

1. Jackson’s Montelle Vision in Red JW ShCM quality dog but up to size. Well made throughout, good head with correct head, ears and expression. Moved and showed well. Res CC.

2. Cook’s Montelle Ring Master at Terrahawk

3. Stahle & Nichols Shallcome’s Brian Boru smart dog of appealing size, good coat and well presented disappointing in ears and movement.

Puppy Bitch 1

1. McGhie’s Keillor Eversure Again NAF 6month quality pup. Lovely size make and shape. Good head and expression, balanced throughout. Good harsh coat moved with drive and reach. Res CC.

Junior Bitch 2 (1 abs)

1. Cooke’s Montelle Leading Question quality young bitch with lovely head. Not as pleasing in shoulder, and still loose in front but moved with drive.

Limit Bitch 1

1. Stahle & Nichol’s nice sized bitch with good harsh coat. Shoulders not her fortune, and lacked drive on the move.

Open Bitch 1

1. Barker & Averis’ Ch Irvonhill White Rose top quality bitch of correct size. Good head and expression, sound construction throughout. Good coat immaculately presented. Showmanship and movement did not disappoint. CC& BOB.

Veteran Bitch 1

1. Williamson & Stirling’s Ch Montelle Mi Lady JW ShCM top quality bitch wearing her years lightly. Superb condition, engaged her hindquarters and showed well.
