IRISH JUDGE THREEE COUNTIES 15
Irish Terriers
Thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge this very well run show.
My first time awarding CC`s in Irish Terriers and I liked the quality in the breed. Some tough decisions. Front movement needs watching a bit as do some heads.
A champions class & more CC`s are needed.
Puppy Dog (1)
1st Kenyons Wyndam The Gamekeeper nicely grown puppy from this top kennel, nice eye & ear & foreface giving a true expression. Good bone, nice topline & moved ok. In A1 coat. He shows well. RCC
Limit Dog (1)
1st Bradley`s Montelle Royal Leader at Sunnystone, good front good front, nice legs & feet, he has a good outline, well angulated. Moves well & has a super coat & colour.
Open Dog (1)
1st Barker & Averis`s Ch Lakeridge Cahal, impressive dog that I gave a group to in May, needs no further comment from me except to say he is in a class of his own. DCC & BOB
Puppy Bitch (3)
1st Connells Wyndam Nuala at Sonorra Good ears, eye & foreface, nice bone, good feet, lovely topline, in good coat, moves well behind, just needs to tighten up in front which she has time to do. She shows very well, another that should get there, litter sister to puppy dog winner. Its been a good litter. RCC
2nd Ruffles Holbam Celtic Whisper at Ruffmar, nice racey outline, good ears, clean front, shows well & well handled.
Junior (3)
1st Holbam Celtic Whisper at Ruffmar.
2nd Lucas Gabledown Mocking Bird, clean front, nice shoulders, in good coat & well handles.
Post Graduate (1)
1st Lucas Gabledown Mocking Bird
Limit (3)
1st Blowers Turith Reddy Maid, racy bitch, teaming with quality, condition & trim today. She has an exquisite head, ears on top just to finish off the expression. Good legs & feet, lovely outline, well angulated and can move. Would prefer a smidging wider behind but a lovely bitch and a match for the BOB male that was I thought in full bloom. BCC
Open (4)
1st Bowers Wyndam Rioach at Lakeridge, nice bitch all through, just lacking hair around the head & ears today to finish the picture. Nice ears good eye & length of foreface, she has a good front, good legs & feet and a nice topline. Carries her tail well & show sell.
2nd Lovelace`s Alwyn Therefore Brazen, nice head. Feminine, good outline, tail on top, shes racy & shows well.
