IRISH JUDGE THREE COUNTIES 24

PD (2)

1 Lodgecroft Singing Master (Richards) 2 quality youngsters in this class of different type. This well schooled 7 month old has a lovely outline. Head has plenty substance, a good length of neck, elbows tucked in from the side. A bit long in loin, correct rise over the loin, tail carried gaily. Narrow chest from front which was well set from shoulders. Liked his rear quarters which were strong and muscular showing sufficient width. Moved well both ways. Handled expertly which gave him the edge and his placing. Presented in good condition with a short stiff outer coat. BD,BOB, BP, PG4.

2 Montelle Flash Light TAF (Cooke) Smaller than 1 this 8 month has nice type throughout with a balanced overall appearance. Prefered the ears and eye of 2 with ears correctly set high at a pleasing distance apart and dark, deep set eyes on a balanced head. Correct neck with shoulders sloping nicely onto a strong, straight back. Liked his deep chest and spring of rib. Both front and rear quarters are good, and lovely drive in his rear movement. Shown in a good length of coat. If he had showed like he did in the challenge in this class, I am sure the placings would have changed. RBD

JD (1)

1 VBilarny Hotcross Bun (Thomas & Print) This young dog has a good head and expression. Perfect ears being of good size and set, and used very well which is key in this breed. Well boned, body of moderate length, deep chest with fairly sprung ribs. Movement was a bit restricted.

PGB (4,3)

1 Originelle Orla (Good) Feminine bitch in good condition with a super dark red short coat. Head of good proportions with a dark eye. Neck of fair length and good length of body with a slightly arched loin. Short and straight pasterns with moderately small feet.

OB (3,1)

1 Ch Norakim Tango of Newguild (Bentley) This bitch has a well proportioned head, with dark eyes, a super black nose, giving that special expression. Ears flying at times. She has a nice feminine overall shape. Neck of fair length, a bit of a dip on back, correct rise over loin. She moved well but lacked that spirited performance today. Excellent coat, good colour and in good condition. BB

2 Bilarny Edna Cotton Socks (Thomas & Print) Bitch of good type and size. Liked her head which is classical, with a strong fore face and good mouth. Moderately long body which was straight in profile and on the move. Good movement front and back. Another well proportioned bitch but preferred the quality and femininity of 1.

VB (1)

1 Balirolyat Mollys A Diva (Karau) This active and lively older lady enjoyed her day and flew round that ring as if she were a youngster. Good long head levels, dark eye, strong jaw. Nicely angulated in front and rear. Would prefer a deeper chest. Correct level back and rise over loin. RBB, BV, VG4.
