IRISH WELSH KC 12 Judge: Mr M King BEST OF BREED : 5337 BARKER, Mr & Mrs A & J & AVERIS Mr J Ch Fleet St Fire And Ice IRISH JUDGE WELSH KC 12 Welsh Kennel Club Irish T: PD (2) 1. Seabridge’s Sujoncla Powder River. Very promising and appealing youngster, nice head with keen expression, good reach of neck, clean front with nice tight feet, good body with well angulated rear and good turn of stifle, coat in very good condition, moved well. BP. 2. Bamsey’s Holbam Pearly Jack. A little playful at this stage, coat coming on well, strong head but tending to fly ears which spoiled expression. JD (1) 1. Rundle’s Sidewater Master Cruiser. 14 mths and maturing well, head and neck to finish but time on his side, clean front, well laid shoulders, deep chest, liked air of arrogance on the move. LD (1) 1. Bissett’s Kerrykeel Enda. Nicely balanced dog in great condition and muscle tone, would like a little more strength in head, super harsh coat, tending to move a bit erratic. OD (5.1) 1. Anderson’s Kerrykeel Eoghan. Nice racy outline with super head and expression coming from strong muzzle, dark eye and well set small ears, nice length of neck, would prefer a slighter deeper chest, good rear quarters producing good driving parallel movement, really good coat. Dog CC. 2. Pratt’s Terrijay Whynot. Very nice type with good balance, somehow did not want to seem to settle and put it all in today, nice size, lacked a bit of sparkle on the move. Res Dog CC. 3. Seabridge’s Sujoncla Kowtolik. PB (1) 1. Pratt’s Terrijay Whatever. Nice puppy developing, good racy outline, tidy front, good head but flying ears a little, needs to be a little more positive on the move. JB (3) 1. Wooding’s Sujoncla Dancing Orchid at Woodraith. Up to size but could not overlook many positive virtues, super head and expression, well laid shoulders flowing well into topline, arched loin, strong quarters, coat in good order. 2. Rundle’s Sidewater Amy Gale. Strength of head needs to finish, body coming on well, coat in good condition, tended to be a bit loose on the move. 3. Jones’ Montella Sweet Dreams. PGB (3) 1. Stahle & Nichols Shallcome’s Canoodle. Nicely put together, good head and ears, nicely made shoulders, good proportions throughout, good tail et and she looked better when she decided to use it to advantage, well angulated rear, super coat and furnishings to match to complete the picture. Res Bitch CC. 2. Hyde’s Seeingred Ice Maiden. Would like stronger head and muzzle, well bodied, not always helping her chances by playing handler up. 3. Ebdon’s The Dervla at Flashblack. LB (1) 1. Ruffles’ Ruffmar Bronzed Ballerina. Broad flat skull with well place ears but not always using them to advantage, deep chest, well set tail good rear angulation, tending to move close for and aft. OB (3.1) 1. Barker & Averis’ Ch Fleet St Fire and Ice. For me stood out from the rest today and not difficult to understand the many comments previously recorded against this fine quality bitch, great head and expression, small well set ears, nice neck and shoulders, clean cut outline, well sprung ribs, jacket in best of conditions, moved true both ways. Bitch CC and BOB. Pleased for her G1 placing. 2. Keegan’s Marshcourt Gold Dust Allatsea. 9 year old and in good condition, although topline not always held correctly, expression let down by flying ears. Max King (Judge) |
