Lakeland Terriers

PD (1)

1 McCallum’s Glentops Back In Time, very nice young dog of 9½ months, very promising. Good neck & topline, well ribbed, in good coat, moves out well & shown in good order.

LD (2)

1 Mason & Connell’s Rafingham Rifleman, very nice dog on the table, lovely to go over. Lovely head & expression, well placed ears, excellent front, good reach of neck, excellent topline, coat & body in pristine condition. Moving though he was very restricted in front & lost his topline somewhat. Maybe it was the noise. RCC.

OD (4)

1 Byrne, Punter & Browbank’s Eskwyre Back In The Red, red, in sparkling form, very good outline, true Lakeland type, super head & expression, excellent topline, hard wire coat, sound as a bell. CC & BOB;

2 Schoneberg’s Nujax Rising Sun at Saredon, lighter wheaten & slightly taller. Really good in head & expression, good reach of neck. Shoulders not as good as 1 & so didn’t move as well. Bit short of coat at present. Will have better days.

PB (3)

1 Mason & Connell’s Sonorra The Witch, very typical, nice size for her age, reminded me of China Girl I had some years ago. Very sound, super outline;

2 Byrne, Vickers & Punter’s Eskwyre World On A String, rather taller than 1 & not as good in shoulders & as such didn’t move as well. Very good head, clean in back skull, excellent topline, well presented;

3 Burgoine & Woodward’s Jelliroll Lady Lucinda.

PGB (3)

1 Browbank & Clark’s Eskwyre Shockin A Frock, wheaten of nice size, sound both ways, OK in head & ears, good front, excellent topline, in good coat;

2 Mason’s Rafingham Magic Storm, lots to like, excellent head & eye, well placed ears, good front, good shoulders, good topline. Just a little too long in loin & this was more obvious on the move. Nicely presented;

3 Byrne, Vickers & Punter’s Eskwyre Black Dahlia.

LB (4)

1 Byrne, Vickers & Punter’s Eskwyre The Full Whack, lovely bitch, super outline, in sparkling form, excellent neck & shoulders, super topline & tail bang on top, good front, excellent head & ears, moved out with reach & drive. CC;

2 Davani’s Kebulak Swing On A Star, wheaten, close up to 1. A little heavier in type but well balanced. In super coat, moved better in front than behind, OK in head & ears. RCC;

3 Kenyon’s Glentops Brittania at Wyndam.

OB (0).
