LAKELAND JUDGE CRUFTS 17

Lakeland Terrier:

VD (1)

1. Burgoine and Woodward’s Aaronsway Sungleam. 11 yrs old and enjoying being in the spotlight, solidly built throughout, good head but carrying ears a little high, good body with well set tail, in full coat and with good furnishings.

PD (2)

1. Rougvie’s Turfflindie Diamond Dealer. Nice size and coat coming on well but just needs more attention to detail to enhance the picture, nice shape.

2. Rougvie’s Turflindie Diamond Chaser. Litter brother to 1, but not helping himself or enjoying the experience.

PGD (4.2)

1. De Munter and Deacon’s Piano Man Van Foliny Home. Appealing youngster who will benefit from time, well put together and well presented, balanced head with neat ears, straight clean front, short level back with good tail set, good coat and moved out well. Pushed hard for further honours.

2. Barnes’ Robelroy Robin. Heavier built than winner and coat not at it’s best.

LD (3)

1. Johnston’s Oregill Hot Pursuit. Good size and shape, typical head but not always using ears to advantage, nice neck and shoulders, good body, strong hindquarters.

2. Ensell’s Nujax Kings Road at Nemiah. Bigger type throughout but in proportion, would like stronger pigmentation to improve expression and appearance, strong hindquarters producing good drive in rear but a touch loose in front.

3. Barnes’ R Robin.

OD (9.2)

1. Schembi and Barker’s Saredon Enigma. Not an enigma for me as he excelled quality throughout, compact balanced and demanding attention, good length of head, neat well set ears, dark eye, good expression, strong neck flowing well into short level back with well set tail, coat in very good order, moved out with purpose. When standing showed himself off to advantage. DCC, BOB and G1 congratulations.

2. Broader’s Ir Ch Brookside Aristocrat. Another who lived up to his name and very much the aristocrat in his attitude. Very well turned out and credit to all concerned, nice head, well made shoulders, level topline, strong hindquarters, in great coat, moved well. Handled well to get the most out of him by his young handler. Res DCC.

3. Veillet’s Ch Macgyver Van Foliny Home. Strong head, clean front, level topline, well angulated rear producing driving movement.

PB (5)

1. Leadbetter and Kerrigan’s Leadstaffs More Than This. Grew with confidence as class progressed, nice head but not always using ears correctly, nice neck and shoulders, body coming on well, when deciding to, she moved true. BP.

2. Mackenzie’s Nyamindi Code Red. Well built and progressing well for age, nice topline and tailset with well angulated rear.

3. Woodward’s Aanevay Sweet Destiny. Good head, clean front, a little playful and uncooperative at times, but handler coped well to get the most out of her.

JB (2)

1. Johnston’s Oregill Hot Topic. Nice size and shape, good expression coming from well made head and neat ears, presented better picture when pulling herself together.

2. Hozova’s Sunnily Ginger Gwen. Up on the leg and a bit rangy at this stage of development, would like better pigmentation.

PGB (4.2)

1. Rougvie’s Turflindie Heather Bellz. Won class on better overall shape, a little erratic on the move, coat could be better. 2. Rougvie and Cook’s Turflindie Kirrie Dumpling. Litter sister to 1 but wider in front and topline could be better, coat and presentation needs more attention.

LB (3)

1. Vickers’ The Sweetest Thing. Nice type, good head profile, punishing jaw, strong neck with well placed shoulders, short level back with good tail set and plenty of substance behind the tail, in good coat, moved well. Res BCC.

2. Schoneberg’s Kebulak She’s a Peach. Longer cast than 1, clean front, in good coat, not helping herself by leaning to the side when moving.

3. Rougvie’s Dripping in Diamonds. Nice size but needs a lot more refinement in coat presentation.

OB (3.1)

1. Confalonieri’s Ch/It/Int Ch Grancassa Del Benaco. Very well made bitch, compact and balanced, very good head and ears, nice neck and shoulders, well ribbed body, short level back, in good coat, never stopped showing, moved well. Bitch CC.

2. Ryan’s Laketrix Fire Starter. Very feminine bitch with lots of positive virtues, correct size, nice head but not always using ears to advantage, clean front, well made body, in good coat, not really settling on the move.
