I would like to thank the society for inviting me to judge this lovely breed and the exhibitors who entered. The numbers are not too high these days but the quality is.
Class 184 JD (2 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: CLAYTON, Miss P J & CLAYTON, Mrs J : Nisyros Rigatoni For Lokilake – A 13 month old male in superb condition, has an excellent outline, he is top size, very masculine quite strong throughout with plenty of bone. Head of good width, small ears which were used to advantage, strong muzzle and excellent teeth, has a good length of neck into well laid shoulders, short back and very good tail set, straight front with very good rear angulation. Moved really well.
Class 187 OD (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: AVERIS, Mr J : Saredon Revere – A striking, mature male who fits the standard from all angles, a real quality showman who was right up on his toes, excellent for size and shape, very good head proportions, has a lovely dark eye, ears are small and well set, strong muzzle and good dentition, super length of neck showing a slight arch into well angulated shoulders, firm topline and well set on tail, has a gun barrel straight front with good rear angulation. Moved really well in the class when he got going, but in the challenge for BOB he was distracted and made a bit of a mess of it. CC
2nd: DE MUNTER-UITERWIJK, Mr D & Mrs R : Sir Digby Van Foliny Home – Another quality male on top form, super outline, balanced, in excellent condition and sound throughout, has a quality coat of good texture, clean masculine head, dark eye, well set ears but not using them to advantage, lovely clean neck into well laid shoulders, has a short back which was firm on the move, covered the ground well with drive from behind. Res CC

1st: EVERARD, Mr C J & ROUGIVE, mrs J & COOK, mrs M : Terrahawk Pocket Rocket – A lovely looking two and a half year old, very feminine, dark eye, excellent teeth, could have used her ears a touch more, she has a good outline and super furnishings, good length of neck, well angulated shoulders, good topline and tail set, moved well around the ring.
Class 193 OB (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: VICKERS, Ms Joanne & DAMS, Mr Neil & PUNTER, Mr Ron : Ch Jodean Mary Rose – Two real beauties in this class. Overall she was the star of the day and didn’t put a foot wrong. Super head, eye and ears, which are well placed, all which gives a keen and alert expression. Flowing neck into well laid shoulders, short back which was held firm on the move, tail well set on with enough behind, super straight front and very good rear angulation, she has a lovely flowing movement and covers the ground well and is true both in all directions, was pleased to award her the CC and BOB.
2nd: BALDWIN, Mrs E : Ch Robelroy Rashaan – A super bitch on top form who pushed the winner hard. She has a super profile, was in hard condition and put down to the minute, has a lovely head and expression, good neck and shoulders, a super straight front, she was slightly longer in back than 1, moved well in all directions.
