Lakeland Terriers

What a pleasure it was for me to award CCs in Lakelands for the first time, being only a few miles from where I was first introduced to these little rascals as a young child. Although the breed are few numerically they are still strong in type & quality.

1 McCallum’s Glentops Back In Time, well balanced head without coarseness, pleasing eye, good reach of neck, clean front, level topline, moved well both ends, very showy, well presented. CC.

1 Greenway’s Rayfos Mickey Rooney, smart well balanced dog with pleasing head & eye, good reach of neck, level topline, well presented & handled as usual from this top kennel. RCC.

PB (4)

1 Connell’s Sonorra The Witch, so pretty & feminine but not lacking in true Lakeland type, lovely head & outline, never stopped showing. BP;

2 Byrne, Vickers & Punter’s Eskwyre World On A String, pleasing headed bitch with good eye & correct ear placement, short coupled, moved well, excellent presentation;

3 Hickman’s Sonorra Witches Brew.

1 Byrne, Vickers & Punter’s Eskwyre Never Been Kissed, beautiful headed bitch & so pretty, lovely hindquarters. Just needs to settle on the move.

PGB (3)

1 Clark & Browbank’s Eskwyre Shock In A Frock, quality red with lovely head & eye, excellent shoulders & good spring of rib, moved & showed well;

2 Anderson’s Corrievackie Opel, pleasing head with nice eye, good reach of neck, level topline, moved well.

1 McCallum’s Glentops Butterfly Kisses, lovely headed bitch with all the correct proportions, good level topline, well presented & handled;

2 C Opel.

1 Byrne, Vickers & Punter’s Eskwyre Black Dahlia, what a delight to go over this lovely bitch, beautiful head & expression, best of fronts, level & good spring of rib. CC, BOB & G4;

2 Johnston’s Oregill In The Buff, classic red, full of type with feminine head & correct expression, good coat & presentation, moved & handled well. RCC;

3 McCallum’s Glentops Bubble And Squeak.
