I would like to thank the Midland Lakeland Terrier Club for inviting me to judge their 30th Anniversary Club Open Show. Also many thanks to the exhibitors for supporting me with the excellent entry.

Not in Show Trim (4)

1 Ross-Johnson’s Glentops Bronze Belle, a pretty little bitch, very feminine, a little small in size but all in proportion. Nice pleasing head & correct Lakeland expression. Good spring of rib & level topline. Pleasing bend of stifle. Well-handled.

V (3)

1 Woodward’s Aaronsway Sungleam, very well presented dog, lovely head, ears & keen eye giving the correct Lakeland expression. Very good bone & sound body structure. Moved well front & rear, pleasing tailset. Would benefit from losing a little weight. BVIS.

JD (1)

1 Barnes’ Robelroy Robin, this dog has a nice head with keen expression, correct mouth, more facial furnishings will improve the overall appearance of his head. He is well bodied, overall in good proportion all round. Just needs to settle on the move. I am sure he will only improve with maturity.

ND (1)

1 Brudles Get Set Go, lovely headed dog with pleasing head & correct bite. Good reach of neck leading into short back & good level topline, stifles well angulated, this shows when he really strides out on the move. Good coated dog.

PGD (1)

1 Ross-Johnson’s Luble Bomerang Barbel at Monsoonmoon, a lovely sound dog with correct head, nice ears & pleasing expression. Well laid back shoulders. Well bodied & in great condition, good bend of stifle giving pleasing movement. Great furnishings.

LD (1)

1 Kerrigan & Leadbetter’s Leadstaff Street Life, earset slightly high just spoiling overall expression a little. Otherwise nice pleasing head, good strong mouth, good reach of neck. Correct front, good tailset & well presented. Very keen dog, moves with drive.

OD (1)

1 Riley’s Brindlefield Mr Bojangles, a beautiful dog, very well presented with great head, good reach of neck, excellent front & level topline, good bend of stifle. Excellent mover, On tip-toes of expectation at all times. A well-proportioned dog overall. BD & BIS.

PGB (3)

1 Mackenzie’s Golden Urdale Plot, a nice headed bitch with good keen expression. Correct mouth, good straight front. Great topline, with good tailset & plenty behind, nice bend of stifle. Good movement front & rear but would improve to move slightly slower. BB & RBIS.

LB (2)

1 Woodward’s Eskwyre The Whole Shebang, shows & moves well. Nice bitch overall. Could do with slightly less weight which detracts from her overall qualities. Well handled & presented. Also winner of Stakes class.

OB (1)

1 Duhig’s Robelroy Reseda, good headed bitch with nice ears & good strong mouth, However carries head a little low on movement slightly spoiling outline. Nice reach of neck, leading into lovely straight front. Slightly taller than most, drives well on the move. On tip-toe of expectation at all times. Good coat, pleasing shape overall.

Stakes (8)

1 E The Whole Shebang.
