LAKELAND MANCHESTER 12 Judge: Mr Tom H Johnston LAKELAND JUDGE MANCHESTER 12 Lakeland Terriers PD (1) 1 Davani’s Kebulak Pistols At Dawn, balanced head with flat skull, good broad muzzle, dark eye, well placed ears, good sized teeth, reachy neck, good bone & legs, good depth & forechest, smart compact youngster with good outline, stands on very good feet, good texture for age, covered ground with good action, most promising. BP. JD (1) 1 Burgoine & Woodward’s Oregill Full Steam, masculine balanced head, good muzzle, good neck, bone & ribs, compact body. Needs a little more development in rearquarters & prefer slightly shorter hocks & more rear drive. In good coat & condition. OD (2) 1 Barker & Averis’ Saredon Mack The Knife, masculine head of good length & good breadth of muzzle, dark eye & well placed ears, good length of neck, compact body, good bone, held good topline & stands on neat feet, in good harsh coat, covered the ground well holding, nice outline; 2 Schonenberg’s Ch Nujax Rising Sun at Saredon, balanced head with good proportions, good eye & ears, good neck, bone & body shape, good topline, good profile when covering the ground, well presented. Just preferred the width & drive of the 1. RBD. PB (1) 1 Benyon’s Keldthwaite Betty Boop, feminine head with good muzzle, good depth of body & topline. Active but needs to settle a bit more to get a better picture on the move. Good muscletone but would prefer a slightly harsher coat. JB (2) 1 Byrne, Vickers & Punter’s Eskwyre Never Been Kissed, balanced feminine head, good muzzle & correct stop, dark eye, well placed ears, good neck, bone & depth of body, good topline & rump, when settled covered ground well holding good topline, in good harsh coat & well muscled condition. PGB (1) 1 Burgoine & Woodward’s Jelliroll Lady Lucinda, balanced feminine head, dark eye, good muzzle. Prefer a touch more length to neck. Good bone & body depth, good size & shape but prefer a firmer topline & slightly tighter feet, good coat. LB (0). OB (5) 1 Byrne, Vickers & Punter’s Eskwyre Black Dahlia, feminine head of good length & width of muzzle, correct stop, dark eye, good earset, good length to neck with good arch, good bone & straight front, good feet & depth of body, compact body, well developed rear, covered the ground with purpose, holding good outline, very well presented in excellent harsh coat, just looking that little more finished to win this nice class. CC & BOB; 2 Cartwright’s Saredon Midnight In Blue, quality girl of very good type, body shape & condition, very good head & expression, in good harsh coat, covered the ground with good profile.
