LAKELAND JUDGE SOUTHERN COUNTIES 18

The Lakelands are not a big breed in numbers anywhere nowadays but there still are high quality specimens. Being a Fox Terrier breeder myself, I don't want a Lakeland to look just like a coloured Fox Terrier, they have to keep their own breed type. Long heads, long legs and slim bodies may perhaps look attractive, especially if the dog is well groomed and handled, but that is not a Lakeland! I was pleased to see here some Lakelands with correct size and substance and good coats, too. Great that the winning dog also got placed in group final. DCC Schoneberg's Paperman Atlantis. RDCC Davani's Kebulak Rockstar. BCC Greenway's Ch Rayfos Turning Point. RBCC Evans' Eskwyre Red Mist To Ralphina. BOB Schoneberg's Paperman Atlantis. BP Evans Ralphina All About Kevin.

PD (1)

1 Evans' Ralphina All About Kevin. Small, correct proportions, beautiful topline. Good shape of head, small ears. Well set tail, harsh coat.

PGD (1)

1 Atkin's Joto Angelo Gentle Star. Strong and masculine, sturdy body. The tail could be higher set. Strong head, good ears. Eyes could be darker. Coat harsh enough.

OD (2)

1 Schoneberg's Paperman Atlantis. Good size, compact, good body. Correct head & ears, beautiful topline, harsh coat. A little rich in colour. Very eyecatching.

2 Davani's Kebulak Rockstar. Good size, but somewhat slim and light in body. Long neck. Good tailset. Good head & ears.

PB (1)

1 Atkin's Joto Angel Roja Delicada. Well developed, sturdy body, good size for age. Excellent coat. Pretty feminine head, small ears. Tail could be higher set.

LB (1)

1 Evans' Eskwyre Red Mist To Ralphina. Good size, feminine general impression. Pretty head, small ears. Well set straight tail, wiry coat.

OB (3,1)

1 Greenway's Ch Rayfos Turning Point. True breed type and good size, correct proportions. Excellent head, good topline. Coat could be more wiry.

2 Davani's Kebulak Hell'n High Heels. Very pretty but somewhat hyper-typed. Still too light in general impression. Beautiful topline. Rather lean head. Rather rich in colour.
