NORFOLK JUDGE BLACKPOOL 18

I would like to thank the Society for the invitation and all exhibitors who entered under me and waited so patiently for their turn to be judged on a very hot day. I would like to thank my very efficient stewards.

Junior Dog 5 (1 abs)

1st Gee, Watercroft Calling Time. Super cobby youngster with good body. Super head with broad skull and dark eye, excellent bite, loved his expression. . Good shoulder placement. Moved very well. Excellent presentation. Best Dog and Best Opposite Sex.

2nd Smith, Javidel Despicable May. Another super youngster with good body, good layback, short coupled, strong bone. Very well angulated. Moved well. Reserve Best Dog.

3rd Atkinson, Moortop Mymark Again

Post Graduate Dog 1

1st Walshe, Beritas The Name’s Bond. Lovely head and expression with dark eye, good bite, longer in body, moved OK.

Open Dog 2

1st Atkinson, Charlie Blake at Moorcroft. Lovely head and expression with dark eye. Good bone, super coat texture, good tail carriage, moved well. I have judged this dog before and liked him very much today I thought had a little too much weight.

2nd Philip, Nordalset Made to Boogie. Another dog with a lovely head and expression. Preferred the movement on 1 today.

Junior Bitch 5

1st Gee, Watercroft Pink Fizz. Super coat and presentation, stocky body, deep chest, excellent head and expression, good bite, so well presented. Good layback of shoulder. Good rear angulation enabling her to move with drive. Best Bitch, Best of Breed and Best Junior

2nd Philip, Nordalset Warm and Fuzzy. Another very nice bitch not as strong in head as winner, super coat texture and colour. Moved very well on this hot day.

3rd Phillips, Jaeva Whoops a Daisy. A very immature puppy who needs time. Very nice head and expression, good bite, moved well but could carry tail higher and spoilt her outline on the move but I forgave this on this hot day. Best Puppy

Post Graduate Bitch 3 (1 abs)

1st Walshe, Beritas Bedevilled. Nice cobby bitch, pleasing head with dark eye. Good bone. Carried tail well and moved out with drive.

2nd Wilkinson, Redders Robin. Another nice bitch. Not the shoulder placement of 1. Bite could be better. Enjoyed her day and showed well for her handler.

Open Bitch 2

1st Gee, Watercroft Gold Dust. What a super bitch with a super red jacket presented to perfection. Short cobby body, super bone. Super head properties with dark eye. She caught my eye when entering the ring and I was sure would be my Best of Breed unfortunately In the final go round in the challenge on this hot day did not want to co-operate with her handler so had to give way to the kennel mate and settle for Reserve Best Bitch.

2nd Gee, Watercroft Top Totty. Another super bitch from this kennel with a strong head, good stop and wide muzzle. Again excellent coat texture and presentation, super compact body, very well angulated. Just preferred the bone of the winner.
