NORFOLK BORDER UNION 15 Judge(s): MISS SHERRIL L GOODWIN (SPITEWINTER) Norfolk Terriers Thank you to all exhibitors as I know some of you travelled a very long way to attend today. I really do find it an honour. Thank you also to the BOB for staying for the group & getting shortlisted, you both put in a fine performance. PD (1) 1 Newton’s Strathinver Sea The Stars, very promising red 7 months puppy, loved his overall make & shape, in excellent coat, super head, large teeth, held topline & correct set on, super feet. One to watch. BP. JD (3,1a) 1 Jenkins’ Kinsridge Back Chat, stunning boy in first class coat, super head, large teeth, firm neck, correct lay of shoulder, correct in hindquarters, true show boy who moved so well & I was delighted to award this young man the RCC. I shall watch his progress; 2 Atkinson’s Moortop Marks Delivery, nice boy, dark eye, well placed ears, moved out well. PGD (1) A. LD (5,1) 1 Gee’s Watercroft In A Pickle, excellent head, correct expression, dark eye, short firm body, moved & shown well, held correct topline & tailset on the move. Promising typy boy. Well presented; 2 Phillips’ Blakens Pay Back, lovely head & expression, typy boy, in fine coat & condition, firm in neck, good feet. Another promising boy; 3 Atkinson’s Blakens I Look To You. OD (2) 1 Thompson-Morgan’s Ch Belleville Seduction, I have always loved this boy. Correct for size, masculine, lovely head. The best of front & shoulders. Held firm topline on the move, true showboy. Sound, not flashy but one I would love to own. Looked great in the group & was shortlisted. CC & BOB; 2 Newton’s Strathinver Smart Enough, typy boy, well made, moved well both ways, in good coat & condition, typical head, correct bite, firm jaw, good feet. VD (0). PB (1) 1 Stevenson’s Brickin Simplicity, 6 months baby, at her first show. Lovely make & shape, everything as it should be at this age. Straight front, moved out well once she settled. Well placed ears, dark eye giving correct expression. JB (5,1) 1 Thompson-Morgan’s Allright Black Bess, feminine, not so happy on the move today. Coat presented well & correct texture, correct tail set on; 2 Darnell’s Jacquidon Next Sensation, short backed, typy, carrying some extra weight. Good spring of rib, correct ears, dark eye; 3 Atkinson’s Moortop Just The One. PGB (3,2) 1 Stevenson’s Brickin Surprise Surprise, lovely red, typy girl, loved her head & expression, well placed ears, held topline on the move, coat coming through, should do well. LB (2) 1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Summer Crunch, very typy, promising bitch. Short in body, lovely head, correct ear, dark eye & mouth correct, moved sound; 2 Stevenson’s Brickin Wild Ivy, another promising lady. Slightly longer in the loin, well placed ears, moved well when settled. OB (3) Super class. 1 Jenkins’ Ch Kinsridge Top Tip, a true pleasure to judge this super red coated girl, in tip top coat & condition. Much has been said about her & she still has much to give the breed. In the challenge she was not quite on her toes so gave way to the male for BOB. Delighted to award her another CC; 2 Gee’s Watercroft Top Tia, lovely girl, unlucky to meet 1. One for the top I am sure. Would like a cleaner shoulder as 1 has but still a sure champion for breed type & condition. RCC; 3 Green’s Wharfvalley Wild Child. VB (0). MISS SHERRIL L GOODWIN |
