PD (4-1)

1 Phillips’ Blakens Pay Back, 10 months, typy puppy with pleasing outline, unfortunately choked a bit on his tight lead but recovered well and settled down, would have preferred more length to rib cage, but sound in movement both ways and in correct well presented jacket. BP;

2 Devereux’s Vichea Storm Trooper, another 10 months old dog, well constructed on the whole, better in rib length than 1 but not in such good jacket, moved and stood himself well, promising;

3 Phillips & Gullick’s Jiffy Golden Go To Jaeva (Imp).

JD (3)

1 Holmes-Chatfield’s Nordalset Guns And Roses, 13 months, this well made and balanced dog presented in very good order in good correct coat, took this class with ease, happy confident youngster, obviously not yet fully mature, retained his pleasing outline on the move, good well padded feet, RCC;

2 Atkinson’s Blakens I Look To You, 11 months, overall an appealing and promising b&t presented in correct coat, handler fussed with him whilst moving, but not as steady on the move as winner;

3 Lloyd’s Orison Midnight Myth.

PGD (2)

1 Atkinson’s Blakens Sugar Candy Dips, two very similar dogs to judge here, but winner more correct in front construction, moving better in front when coming towards me;

2 Sant’s Nordalset Look To The Future, quite well-balanced overall, preferred the head qualities of winner, moving wide in front.

LD (5)

1 Phillips’ Blakens The Kandy Man Kan, well put together red dog, pleasing in head and expression, overall typical outline, plenty of substance without being fat, quite good in front construction, went well on correct well-padded feet;

2 Gee’s Watercroft In A Pickle, I really liked this dog and thought he would be my winner on entering the ring, typical in outline, a dog with may qualities but as he moved away was disappointed when he did not move as soundly in the rear as 1, felt he might have been better moved at a slightly slower pace;

3 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Roll Call.

OD (3)

1 Green’s Wharfvalley Diamond Star, now a mature red dog which has taken time to reach his prime, well constructed and balanced all through, typical in outline with pleasing tail carriage, steady mover in both front and rear, in very good jacket, pleased to award his qualifying CC;

2 Newton’s Strathinver Smart Enough, close up in many ways, strong, well made throughout in body, but ear carriage detracted from typical Norfolk expression;

3 Thompson-Morgan’s Ch Belleville Seduction.

VB (1)

1 Hess & Higgins’ Kapitada Fireopal At Umbrage, attractive 8 year old red bitch, alone in this class, in very good nick all through, correct in coat texture, moved soundly both ways, BV.

PB (6-1)

1 Stevenson’s Brickin Tidy Affair, 9 months, alert and responsive puppy, balanced with pleasing head qualities for this stage of development, presented in correct coat, moving well;

2 Saltmarsh’s Pipridges Holly, 11 months, another balanced red bitch, liked her calm but confident demeanour, quite attractive head but still needs to develop in that area, good body proportions with just the right amount of substance, went well;

3 Philip’s Nordalset Sunny Skies.

JB (5-1)

1 Hurrion’s Villassa Star Turn, balanced red bitch, good head proportions with correct breed expression taking my eye completely as she entered the ring, well put together and in correct jacket, presented a lovely overall picture in both movement and stance, really liked this one for the future and hopefully should do well when they mature;

2 Gee’s Watercroft Dream Topping, just turned a year old, also liked this darker red bitch, balanced and alert, responsive to handler, head still has a bit more to do yet, but very promising, in good coat and moving well on good correct feet;

3 Campbell’s Nordalset Mad About You.

PGB (6-3)

1 Macartney’s Nordalset Little Bit Of Sun, very close decision here between 1 & 2, this b&t bitch just scoring in topline over 2, balanced and strongly made all through, quite pleasing in head proportions, good feet;

2 Green’s Wharfvalley Wild Child, different in type to winner, smaller and finer all through but with many good qualities, well constructed in body and head, happy demeanour, showing and moving well;

3 Hess & Higgins’ Umbrage The Gloriana.

LB (6-1) 1 Saltmarsh’s Pipridges Hazel, quite difficult task to judge these two very different types, winner well constructed, calm but lost none of her ability to show well, had the construction essentials to work well if required, I felt; 2 Gee’s Watercroft Top Tia, another good bitch here, finer in type throughout but correctly proportioned in body, a pleasing Norfolk.

OB (4-1)

1 Smith’s Javidel Definitely Maybe, was attracted to this bitch which caught my eye immediately on coming into the ring, b&t, well made in body with substance & good bone, but losing nothing in femininity, showing her many qualities off herself and showed her socks off, liked her very much, most pleased to award CC & BOB which I understood to be her 3rd today;

2 Phillips’ Ch Blakens Sugar Candy Kisses, another very pleasing bitch, red and well constructed all through, but not in such absolutely sparkling form as winner today, RCC;

3 Thompson-Morgan’s Ch Belleville Just Magic.
