MPD (1,0)

1. Jenkins’ Kinsridge Cash Is King. 6 mth old red standing alone here and only a baby. Quality pup who I thought an excellent type and so very well balanced. Moderate length of neck, firm topline, ribbed well back and rib developing nicely for age, short loin and tail set on well. Quality head with super expression; good breadth to skull, correctly proportioned, dark oval-shaped eyes, well defined stop, strong muzzle and excellent dentition with nice width to jaw. Good angles front and rear, straight well boned forelegs and muscular hindquarters with hocks well let down. Moves out so well on the go around, true when going away but needs to firm a tad in front. Wiry jacket and presented in good order.

PD (3,2)

1. Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Plum Picker. 10 mth red who appealed for overall type and balance. He is all male, carrying lovely bone and substance and was good to go over. Muscular neck of medium length, short back with firm topline, good length to ribcage, nice short loin and tail of good set. Super headed lad with broad, slightly rounded skull, good skull to muzzle proportions, dark eye giving keen expression, ears of good size and set, strong muzzle and correct dentition. He stands well naturally on good feet and is well-muscled throughout. Moving out well in profile with excellent carriage and ok on the down and back. Hard, wiry jacket and so very well presented. Best Puppy Dog.

JD (4,0)

1. Phillips’ Blakens Specially Brewed. 17 mth red who was a comfortable winner in this class. He excelled for type and presented a well-balanced outline with strong neck of moderate length, level topline, excellent ribbing, short muscular loin and tail set on well. Quality headpiece with good breadth to skull, well defined stop, neatly dropped ears, super eye which is full of mischief, strong muzzle of correct length to balance and scissor bite. Stands nice and straight in front with good width of chest, round feet with thick pads and firm, muscular hindquarters with good bend of stifle. Move true both fore and aft and moves out well in profile with excellent carriage. Good quality jacket. RCC.

2. Darnell’s Jacquidon Hot Off The Press. 12 mth old red who pleased in outline with muscular neck of medium length, short back, level topline, lovely ribbing, firm loin and tail of good set. Nicely proportioned head with dark, expressive eyes, ears good for size and set, good stop and strong muzzle with correct dentition. Carrying good bone, he has good angulation both front and rear and stands on thick-padded, round feet. Moves so well on the go around and uses himself as he goes, parallel rear with plenty of drive but front action could not match that of winner.

3. Harrison’s Jacquidon Rich Tea

PGD (3,0)

1.Tate’s Jaeva Dream Come True. 21 mth old red who won this class with ease. Still some way off maturity, this lad presented a nicely balanced outline with moderate length of neck which blends into well laid shoulders, short back, firm topline, good length to ribcage, muscular loin and tail set on well. Quality head and expression with good breadth to skull, ears of correct size and set, dark oval-shaped eyes, good stop and wedge-shaped muzzle with plenty of strength and correct length to balance. Pleasing angulation both front and rear, well-muscled throughout and standing on good feet. Gaiting well on the go around with good reach and drive, nice and parallel when going away and ok when coming towards.

2. Davis’ Watercroft Earl Grey. Another 21 mth old red who is quite different to the winner and his coat is in need of attention. He was pleasing to go over and a good type. Strong neck of medium length, nice short back, good length to ribcage and ribs well sprung, short loin and tail of good set but rather short. Well proportioned head with lovely expression; skull of good breadth, ears set on correctly, dark oval-shaped eyes, well defined stop, strong muzzle and good dentition. Shoulders well laid, standing well naturally and firm rear with well let down hocks. Moving well all through.

3. Rayner & Healey’s Watercroft Mark One

LD (3,0)

1. Haydon’s Earthtaw Lincoln. Three quite different dogs challenged in this class. My winner was this 3 yr old red. He was presented with excellent muscle-tone and was good to go over. Well balanced outline with medium length of neck, level topline, ribs well sprung and carried well back, short muscular loin and tail of good set. Masculine headpiece of good proportions, ears of good set but a little larger than the ideal, dark expressive eyes, correct stop, strong muzzle and scissor bite. Well laid shoulders with good return of upper arm, straight well-boned legs and firm, muscular rear with good bend of stifle. Moves out so well in profile, using himself as he goes, just a little closer going away. Jack of good texture. Very well handled.

2. Atkinson’s Moortop Mymark Again. 4 yr old red who is soundly constructed and pleased for overall type but just not quite the balance of winner. Strong neck of moderate length, level topline but a tad longer cast, nice spring of rib, muscular loin and tail good for set and carriage. Skull of good breadth, ears set on well but again a little larger, dark oval-shaped eyes, well defined stop, muzzle of correct length to balance head and scissor bite. Good angles both front and rear, nice straight forelegs, round feet with nice thick pads and well-muscled hindquarters with hocks well let down. Moving freely with good extension and holding his topline as he goes. Jacket of excellent texture.

3. Simpson’s Brickin Wish Me Luck at Megalex

OD (3,0)

1. Gee’s Ch Watercroft Boozy Miller. 2 yr old red who pleased for type and balance and was so good to go over. Carrying good bone and substance and free from any suggestion of coarseness. Muscular neck of moderate length, firm level topline, first class ribbing, nice short loin and tail set on well and of good carriage. Quality head with keen expression; broad skull with good width between his neat well set ears, dark oval-shaped eyes, well defined stop, strong wedge-shaped muzzle and scissor bite with teeth of good size. Well made all through with well laid shoulders and good return of upper arm, elbows close the body, standing nice and straight in front on good feet and firm, muscular hindquarters with good turn of stifle and well let down hocks. Gaiting freely with plenty of drive from the rear and using himself at all times. Wiry jacket and presented in good order. CC.

2. Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville High Life. This 2 yr old red is another of quality but quite different to the winner, both in type and outline. He is a touch shorter in back than 1 and also has a little more length of leg. Strong neck of medium length, level topline, super rib and short muscular loin. Masculine head with good skull to muzzle proportions, ears of correct size and placement, dark oval-shaped eyes with desired keenness of expression, well defined stop, strong wedge-shaped muzzle and good dentition. Well-boned and with good substance, he has pleasing angles both front and rear and stands on good feet. Moving true both fore and aft and shows great drive from the rear when viewed in profile. Jacket of good texture.

3. Smith’s Ch Javidel Despicable May

SBD (1,0)

1. Harrison’s Jacquidon Rich Tea. 13 mth old red who pleased for overall outline with neck of correct length to balance, level topline, rib developing well, nice short loin and excellent tail for both set and carriage. Nicely proportioned head with good breadth to skull, well defined stop, dark oval-shaped eyes, strong muzzle and correct dentition. His left ear lifts which spoils expression to some degree. Good angles front and rear but stands a little untidy in front. Moves out well in profile with good propulsion from the rear. Good texture to jacket. Well handled. Best Special Beginners.

MPB (4,1)

1. Jenkins’ Kinsridge Juicey Gossip. 7 mth old red who I thought most promising and is just in need of a bit more ring experience. She scored for overall type and balance and was good to go over. Neck of moderate length, short back with firm topline, ribs carried well back and developing nicely for age, short loin and tail set on well. Delightful head and expression; good skull to muzzle proportions, neat ears carried close to the cheeks, super eye, well defined stop and correct dentition. Soundly built all through and moving true on the down and back.

2. Smith’s Javidel Handmayds Tale. Just 6 mths old, out of a smaller mould than the winner but this red pup is another good one. Feminine throughout with a quality headpiece; skull of good breadth, ears of correct size and placement, keen dark eye, well defined stop, strong wedge-shaped muzzle of correct length to balance and good dentition. Nicely balanced with medium length of neck, short back, level topline, muscular loin and tail of good set. She stands well naturally with good width of chest for age, round feet with nice thick pads and firm rear with hocks well let down. Moving well on the go around, true when coming towards but rear not quite that of 1. Good coat.

3. Phillips’ Blakens Golden Girl

PB (4,0)

1. Gee’s Watercroft Treacle Toffee. Good class which was headed by this 10 mth old red. Quality youngster who is so very well constructed and therefore so good to go over. Feminine all through, she presented a nicely balanced outline with moderate length of neck, level topline, good length to ribcage which is developing well for her age, short muscular loin and tail of good set and carriage. Most appealing head and expression; skull of good width between her correctly set ears, dark oval-shaped eyes, defined stop, wedge-shaped muzzle of correct length and excellent dentition. She stands nice and straight in front on good feet and has firm, well-muscled hindquarters with good turn of stifle. Gaiting freely and with drive. Jacket of good texture. Best Puppy.

2. Stevenson’s Brickin Country Charm. 8 mth old red who also has so much to like. She is a fraction longer than the winner but by no means unbalanced. Strong neck of moderate length, level topline, pleasing rib for age, firm loin and tail of good set. Feminine headpiece with good breadth to skull, ears of good set, dark expressive eyes, correct stop and scissor bite. Another who is soundly built with well laid shoulders and good return of upper arm, elbows close to the chest, straight forelegs of good bone and firm, muscular hindquarters with nice turn of stifle and firm hocks. Moving true and driving out well from the rear. Good quality coat.

3. Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Citation

PGB (6,2)

1. Tate’s Jaeva What The Hell. 17 mth old black/tan who was pleasing to go over and presented a nicely balanced outline with strong neck of medium length, short back with firm topline, ribs carried well back and well sprung, short loin and tail of good set. Feminine head with broad skull which is slightly rounded between her neat, well set ears, dark oval-shaped eyes giving keen, intelligent expression, well defined stop, strong muzzle of correct length to balance and scissor bite. Shoulders well laid back, good return of upper arm, elbows held close to the body, standing on good feet and firm, well-muscled hindquarters with nice bend of stifle. Moving out freely and with enthusiasm. Excellent texture to jacket. Still to fully mature but a worthy RCC winner here today.

2. Atkinson’s Moortop Bobby's Girl. This 18 mth old red is another who is well constructed and good to go over. She pleased for type and is so well balanced with moderate length of neck, short back, super rib, nice short loin and tail just right for both set and carriage. Quality head with delightful expression; good skull to muzzle proportions, eyes good for shape and colour, well defined stop, strong muzzle and correct dentition. She has good angles front and rear, elbows are held close to the chest, straight well-boned forelegs, round feet with nice thick pads and firm, muscular hindquarters with hocks well let down. Gaiting true on the down and back and moves out well on the go around. Well handled.

3. Walker’s Watercroft Golden Spice

LB (4,2)

1. Gee’s Watercroft in The Que. Two very different bitches challenged in this class. My winner was this 22 mth old red. She wasn’t as co-operative with her handler as she might have been but she did more than enough to garner this place. I thought her such a good type and she was so good to go over. She presented a pleasing outline with neck of correct length to balance, firm level topline, excellent ribbing, short muscular loin and tail of good set. Feminine headpiece with good breadth to skull, medium-sized ears which are neatly placed and carried close to the cheeks, dark expressive eyes, correct stop, strong wedge-shaped muzzle and scissor bite. Carrying good bone and substance, she is sound all through and moves out freely with good drive from the rear. Jacket of excellent texture and very well presented.

2. Smith’s Javidel May I Present. 21 mth old black/tan. Smaller girl than the winner but another who is full of quality and presents a compact outline with medium length of neck, nice short back, well sprung ribs, short loin and tail of good set. Quality head with nice breadth to her slightly rounded skull, ears correct for both size and set, dark expressive eyes giving keen expression, good stop, jaw strong and clean and correct scissor bite. Nice layback of shoulder and good upper arm, elbows close to the chest, straight forelegs and muscular rear with good turn of stifle and well let down hocks. Moving nice and parallel fore and aft and using herself as she goes. Coat texture not quite that of 1.

OB (6,2)

1. Thompson-Morgan’s Ch Belleville Natural High. Quality class with the first two particularly impressing. The winner was this 2 yr old red. Right out of the top drawer, I thought her an excellent type and she presented a beautifully balanced, compact outline. Strong muscular neck of moderate length, short back with firm topline, first class ribbing, nice short loin and tail of good set. Quality head with feminine expression; broad skull which is slightly rounded between her neat, well placed ears, oval-shaped eyes, well defined stop, strong wedge-shaped muzzle of correct length to balance and clean jaw with scissor bite and teeth of good size. Carrying good bone throughout and so very well constructed with good angles front and rear, standing nice and straight in front on good feet and firm, muscular hindquarters with hocks well let down. So good on the move, parallel on the down and back and with great propulsion from the rear, using herself as she goes and so very well handled. Excellent jacket; hard, wiry and straight and super presentation. CC & BOB.

2. Phillips’ Blakens Look to The Stars. 3 yr old black/tan who is quite different to the winner but another who is full of quality and a delight to go over given her correct construction. Feminine throughout she is well balanced with medium length of neck, level topline, well sprung ribs which are carried well back, nice short loin and excellent tail for set and carriage. Most attractive head with keen expression; skull of good breadth, neat ears which are carried close to the cheeks, dark oval-shaped eyes, well defined stop, wedge-shaped muzzle with plenty of strength and correct bite. Straight, well-boned forelegs, good feet and super hindquarters with strong, muscular thighs. So good on the move, good extension in front and driving well from the rear. Good quality coat and another so very well presented.

3. Jenkins’ Kinsridge Tip Toes

SBB (2,1)

1. Walker’s Watercroft Golden Spice. 3 yr old red. Happy girl who was enjoying her time in the ring. Moderate length of neck, firm topline but a little longer cast than the ideal, pleasing rib, muscular loin and tail just right for both set and carriage. Feminine head with slightly rounded skull, nice dark eye, well defined stop and correct dentition. She has pretty good angles front and rear and moves freely with good carriage. Feet not what they could be and would like better texture to coat.
