NORFOLK LKA 16 Judge: Mrs Patricia Broom (Roxway) BEST OF BREED : 6431 NEWTON Mrs N R Strathinver Sea The Stars NORFOLK JUDGE LKA 16 Norfolk Terriers I would like to thank the exhibitors for their entries – I thoroughly enjoyed my day with so many lovely dogs to go over. I would also like to thank Miss Kim Lathaen & Mrs Pat Lewis for keeping everything in the ring running smoothly. MPD (1) 1 Phillips’ Jaeva Ready Reckoner, 7 month puppy who thoroughly enjoyed his day, good head & eye, neck & shoulder level topline & set on. Moved OK when he settled. Should have a good future. PD (3) 1 Stevenson’s Brickin Pot Of Pickle, 11 month puppy well put together liked his head & ear placement, dark eye & good set on. Coat not at its best but moved & showed well; 2 Jellings & Bakewell’s Jaeva Look ‘n’ Look Again at Norwelston Lyjel, another nice puppy, good outline pleasing head, good coat & well set tail; 3 Woolnough’s Northwool Rusty at Romance. JD (3,1a) 1 Horne’s Marchdens Mark My Words, lovely young dog so well balanced, great head & expression, good neck & shoulders, straight front, level topline with well carried tail. Moved & showed well. Should do well RCC; 2 Philip’s Nordalset Made To Boogie, good type, not quite the coat of winner but has a good outline with a pleasing head & expression. Moved OK. PGD (0). LD (1) 1 Atkinson’s Charlie Blake at Moortop, very good make & shape, lovely harsh coat, good bone, good topline & set on. Liked his head & expression & well carried ears. Moved soundly. OD (4,1) 1 Newton’s Strathinver Sea The Stars, what a lovely size this dog is, he is not too heavy, neat head, with a good eye & well carried ears which he used well. Good neck & best of shoulders & a straight front. Short backed & well angulated hind quarters. Loved his movement so sound & showed very well. CC & BOB; 2 Atkinson’s Blakens I Look To You, another very good dog who was so well presented but a little heavier than the winner. In good coat & condition; 3 Gee’s Watercroft Chilli Pepper. VD (1) 1 Ch Wharfvalley Diamond Star, 7 years & looking like a youngster. In good coat & well presented. Pleasing head & expression. Good level topline & set on. Moved & showed well like the Champion he is. GCD (0). MPB (8,1) 1 Gee’s Watercroft Suzie’q, what a super 7 month old puppy, good head, neck & short backed, sound movement & showed very well in good coat. BP; 2 Jenkins & McCourt’s Kinsridge Tic Tac, another good puppy with pretty head & expression, & good neck & shoulder, moved well & could easily change places on another day; 3 Hurrion’s Villassa Country Belle. PB (4) 1 Phillips’ Jaeva Keen As Mustard, very nice make & shape, good head, good teeth, dark eye, not quite in her best coat but moved & showed well; 2 Graves’ Nicnips Isa, didn’t quite put all in today but a very nice type just needs a little more confidence. In good coat & moved okay when she got going; 3 Gardner’s Northwool Jenni And Romance at Danalas. JB (4,1) 1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Ovation, red, in good coat very balanced, feminine head, good neck & shoulders, level topline & good set on. Showed very well; 2 Atkinson’s Moortop Clear Choice, very good type, good head & expression, level topline with good tailset in great coat just preferred the winner on the day; 3 Green’s Wharfvalley Persuasion. PGB (2,1) 1 Jenkin’s Kinsridge In Black, b/t, nicely put together, just not very happy today but I am sure will have a better day. LB (7,2) 1 Thompson-Morgan’s Allright Black Bess, b/t of lovely size, pretty head with well carried ears, dark eye, good neck & shoulder, well bodied. In good coat & very well presented; 2 Gullick & Tate’s Jaeva Hells Fire, red, different type, in good harsh coat & condition , did move as well as the winner; 3 Gee’s Watercroft Saffron. OB (4) 1 Jenkins’ Ch Kinsridge Top Tip, this very well known bitch is so beautifully balanced & an ideal size, & so well up together with an extremely attractive head, with well carried ears, very short backed with a level topline & a good set on. Well angulated hindquarters which she used well when she decided to move properly. CC; 2 Phillips’ Ch Blakens Tootie Fruitie, this was a very hard decision today with these 2 lovely bitches but just preferred the balance of the winner on the day. Beautifully presented as always by this kennel. RCC; 3 Hurrion’s Villassa Too Choosi. VB (1) A. GCB (0). PATRICIA A BROOM |
