1 & BP Gee’s Watercroft Moon Dust I thought this b/t scored in head and expression, so alive with that “up and ready for anything” look. Decent width in skull which is gently rounded, excellent eyes sufficient neck and a decent spring of rib affording a level backline. He is well off for substance throughout and moved around the ring with such determination and drive.

2nd Smith’s Javidal May You Never just 6 months and very much the baby compared to the winner. Well balanced head, very good muzzle, nice eyes and well set and carried ears. Just about enough neck, fair bend of stifle and quite sound on the move.

3 Haydon’s Earthtaw Patrick

1 Gee’s Watercroft Hallmark another very promising puppy from this famous and highly successful affix. This boy is red, just 6 months old and loving his day out so much that his movement was hard to fairly assess!! Handles well on the table, delightful head with that almost mischievous expression, so well ribbed, very good bend of stifle and well coated. I will be surprised if he does not go o to his title in due course, just a bit over enthusiastic today!

PGD (2)

1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Playmate this is a very sound moving red with an air of quality and good breeding. Loved his head and expression, decent neck affording good head carriage, well bodied and as always from this kennel, ring trained. His coat has a good texture and I am sure he will clock up some good wins.

2 Ward’s Littlemount Celyn Y Mor I liked his head with such mischievous eyes and ever so attentive ears! He is a bit on the bulky side for me in rib and body development and when circling the ring with the winner he was short stepping in comparison. But certainly is a character!

LD (4)

1 & Res CC Gee’s Watercroft Tiger Feet all male in head and expression, loved his skull width, good stop and correct muzzle. He is well ribbed, uses his neck to best advantage and circled the ring with such a positive stride. Surely title bound.

2 Harrison’s Jacquidon Rich Tea a smaller dog as his leg length is on the short side for his body. However he has a nice reach of neck, is firm in backline and his tailset and carriage were one of the best of the day. His head handles well, eyes a little on the full side for me, but his ears are the correct shape and are well carried. In profile his action is balanced and sound.

3 Stockley’s Nordalset Destiny’s Child.

OD (3)

1 CC & BOB Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Plum Sauce, a class item. So sound, a lovely size, ample substance throughout for a male, in excellent coat, quality head and expression and his profile action shows reach and drive as he asserted himself when circling the ring. Deserved to represent the breed in the Group ring.

2 Jenkins Ch Kinsridge Cash Point when I went over him on the table I knew we had a very handsome chap indeed. Loved his head and expression, nicely arched neck, decent forechest and spring of rib and such good, tight feet. Well coated, his movement just lacked the ooomph and drive which I expected from his construction. But a very worthy Ch.

3 Tate’s Int Ch Jaeva Rock the Boat (Re-Imp)

GCD (2)

1 Powell’s Watercroft Brown Boots a quality example of the breed. Delightful head and expression which convinced me he is quite a character!! A credit in body and muscle tone and he certainly shifted his way around the ring with an air of bravado.

2nd Walker’s Roxtpark Spring Time a quite different chap altogether, very workmanlike in type to go over but then he showed disdain when asked to move! It just was not on his agenda, although he did just enough to earn the blue card.

VD/B (1)

1 McCartney’s Nordalset Little Bit of Sun for Twig VW 11 years young with a super “glad to see you” temperament. Carrying a bit too much body weight to really stride out but he made me smile as his tail never stops wagging. Clearly adored by his owner.

PB (6)

1 Gee’s Watercroft Nora Batty yet another very promising exhibit bearing this prefix. Again a red, with super length/height proportions, a decent spring of rib, excellent forechest with well boned straight legs., firm backline and adequate bend of stifle Her head is a delight and her expression from those ever so alert eyes will make many smile. Once settled covered the ground well.

2 Phillips’ Blakens Candy Bar Girl I liked the head properties on this youngster and she is well balanced in length/height ratio. Her shoulder and hind angulations are balanced and she was in excellent jacket. Nioy asa settled on the move as the winner but she gave glimpses of her potential.

3 Smith’s Javidal May to December.

JB (2)

One of the hardest decisions of the day as these are two very promising youngsters. They are similar in so many ways and both should have successful careers. They matched each other in soundness, coat, and length/height proportions. In a photo finish I felt that Point had a fractionally stronger muzzle and, for me, a tad better eye.

1 Jenkins’ Kinsridge Brownie Point.

2 Brackner’s Brupurnat Spirits Gift.

PGB (4,1)

1 Glynn’s Kemberlynn Angels Spirit this charmer has a good head and expression, ample reach of neck and has an eye catching outline on the stack. For me she is carrying that bit too much condition and although her profile action is balanced with reach and drive she came towards me somewhat wide in front.

2nd Walker’s Watercroft Golden Spice a nicely headed red with such expressive eyes and good ears. Non stop tailwagger, but compared to the winner she was short stepping in front so in profile her action lacked the smoothness and ground cover, but the tail let me know she was happy!

LB (4)

1 Smith’s Javidal Handymayds Tale very much my type of head and expression, super eyes and ears and enough reach in neck. She is well ribbed, short coupled with a well set and carried tail In lovely coat she was the best profile actioned in the class

2 Atkinson’s Moortop Bobby’s Girl has appeal in length/height proportions, I would like a tad more strength in muzzle, but her skull, eyes and ears are good. Firm in backline, she has a well set and carried tail, and nicely angulated hindquarters. Not so tight in front action as the winner.

3 Glynn’s Kemberlynn Angels Dreams.

OB (4)

1 & CC Gee’s Watercroft Back In A Jiffy an ultra feminine b/t which oozes breed type with that lovely head and expression. She is shapely, was in excellent coat her length/height proportions are spot on and she is such a responsive showgirl. So full of herself when moving, becoming a tad jaunty, but I still felt she was the best bitch on show. Delighted to give her the big card and will be surprised if she does not go on to her title.

2 & Res CC Thompson-Morgan’s Ch Belleville Hope Star another very classy true to breed type that this exhibitor always shows. My notes said future Ch...but I see she is already ennobled. Breed type in spades, excellent coat presentation and she is a very sound, light stepping bitch of real quality.

3 Phillips’ Blakens Catch The Stars
