NORFOLK JUDGE LKA 24

I have been waiting for some time to award CC’s to this ultra charming breed which is so full of character. The entry of 41 on paper was satisfying for a Thursday, All temperaments were excellent and all were presented in excellent condition.

PD (4)

1 Gee, Watercroft Goldfinch 6 months old but showing like an old hand. Good width in skull with plenty in foreface with correct dentition. Correct oval shaped eye which was giving off an alert expression. Neck is of medium length. His body is short and compact. Good bone with tight round feet. Once settled he moved out with true purpose. Should go on to bigger and better things with more maturity.

2 Hess, Umbrage July in Paris. Another six months old exhibit with many of the winners attributes. Head, eye and expression all good. Cobby in body, correct bone with round feet. Just needs to settle on the move. In time this will happen.

3 Jenkins, Royal Osito Rebel Rouser at Kinsridge (Imp Esp) 10 months. He scores in head which has good width in his skull. Keen in eye, moderate in neck with good bone and neat round feet.On the stack I would have preferred a shorter loin which would make him more compact, but he did move out well.

JD (3)

1 Gee, Watercroft Easy Tiger 9 months and is out of the top draw. Correct proportions in head with good width in skull with strength in foreface and good dentition. He is oval in eye, whilst giving off a pleasing expression. Moderate in neck with good fill in forechest. His body is compact with excellent ribbing. Solid in topline which leads to a firm loin. He stands on quality bone with tight round feet. On the move he displayed accurate footfalls on the out and back whilst holding an eye-catching profile on the go around and was presented in excellent coat and condition. Whilst I was mindful of his tender age in the line up; he was not to be ignored, so today BP and the RCC. Another “star” from this kennel I predict!

2 Pont, Tinkave in the Groove with Belleville (TAF) 12 months. Fair all through for overall breed type. Masculine proportions in head. Correct oval eye. Sufficient in neck. Commpact in body with level topline. He stands on good bone with neat oval feet. Moved ok on the out and back and was well presented.

3 Toms Toms, Daws, Jaeva Party Boy. A well grown individual of ample proportions but is sound on the move.

PGD (3)

1 Smith, Javidel May You Never. 20 months who is fair for overall breed type. Head displays correct proportions with good width in skull with strength in forface and correct dentition. Oval in eye which clear. Moderate in neck with good fill in forechest. Plenty in rib with level topline. Bone and feet good. He moved out soundly on the out and back and was well presented.

2 Phillips, Wielenshovse Thich Thich Boom (Dev Imp). Fair all through for overall breed type who was a little unsettled on the table but did compose himself to claim this spot. Head, eye and expression all good. Coby in body, bone and feet correct. Once settled, moved out ok.

3 Ward, Littlemount Celyny Mor. A well grown individual of ample proportions. Masculine in head, moderate in neck with correct bone and feet. Moved way well but was loose in the front on the return.

LD (6)

1 Gee, Watercroft Moon Dust B/T. Excellent all through for overall breed type. Correct in head with good width in skull with strength in jaw and correct dentition. He has correct oval shaped eyes which gives off a pleasing expression. Moderate in neck with good fill in forechest. He is cobby in outline and stands on quality bone with tight round feet. On the move he displayed a good attitude on the out and back whilst holding a pleasing profile on the go around. He must be banging on the door of the upper house. One for the top I’m sure!

2 Thompson-Morgan, Belleville Wordsmith, Red. Another quality exhibit to admire all through. Correct proportions in head with good width in skull and strength in foreface with good dentition. Clear oval eyes. Moderate neck, compact in body. Quality bone with good feet. Moved out well on the out and back and was well presented. Pushed the winner all the way. Will change places on another day.

3 Davis, Watercroft Cosmic Dust. There is more than enough to admire about this exhibit. Head, eye and expression all good. He is coby in body with good bone and compact feet. I felt he just would not settle today on the move.

OD (2)

Two fine examples of the breed going toe to toe!

1 Thompson-Morgan Ch Belleville Playmate, red. For me he depicts the beed standard to a ‘T’. He is masculine all through. His head qualities display good proportions. Correct width in skull with plenty in foreface with good dentition. Correct oval eye which gives off a pleasing expression all topped off with well placed ears. He is moderate in neck with good fill in forechest. He scores in ribbing with a solid topline. He stands on quality bone with tight round feet. It’s on the move that he comes to life displaying a free flowing active stride with a willingness to please. Presentation was excellent. Pleased toward him the CC and later on BoB. Delighted to hear he made the cut in a very strong Terrier Group under Terrier Specialist “Mr Philip Horspool”.

2 Gee, Ch Watercroft Tiger Feet JW, red. Yet another to draw exhibit that displays such good breed type. He scores in head, eye and expression. Excellent dentition, moderate neck with good fill in forechest. He is level in topline with good ribbing. Compact in body with quality bone with compact feet and was presented in good order. However, here’s the thing, today he was being rather “coltish” on the move and simply would not settle so had to pay the penalty. He is a very worthy “Ch” and will continue to catch the eye. Absolutely no disgrace here!

GCD (1)

1 Powell, Watercroft Brown Boots. Mature individual of some merit. Correct proportions in head with good eye. Compact in body with plenty in forechest. He stands on good bone with correct feet. Moved out well on the out and back and presented in good order. SBD (3,1) 1 Powell, Watercroft Brown Boots (see previous class)

2 Ward, Littlemount Celyn Y Mor (see Postgraduate Dog)

VD/B (1)

1 MacCartney, Ivrig Dancing in the Sun 7 year old mature exhibit with plenty to admire all through. Feminine in head which displays correct proportions. Good oval eye. Sufficient in body, correct bone and feet. Moved out well on the out and back and was presented in excellent jacket. Best Veteran.

PB (5)

Good class, bodes well for the future. Splitting hairs between the first three home!

1 Hurrion, Villassa Quest for a Kiss. Quality youngster of good merit all through. Feminine in head which displays correct proportions. Correct oval eye which gives off a pleasing expression. Moderate in neck with cobby body. Topline is solid and she stands on good bone with neat feet. Moved out soundly on the out and back whilst holding a pleasing profile on the go around. Should do well!

2 Thompson-Morgan, Belleville Counting Stars. Yet another smart individual with many of the winners qualities Splitting hairs here and I’m sure will change places on other occasions.

3 Gee, Watercroft Tiger Lilly. Completing a trio of quality exhibits.

PGB (5)

1 Thomson-Morgan, Belleville Sky Full of Stars. Only a youngster but has much promise. Feminine in head with plenty in foreface. Correct oval eye with an alert expression. Moderate neck. Coby in body, level in topline with quality bone and compact round feet. Moved out well displaying correct foot falls on the out and back. Well presented.

2 McDermott, Macdiarmade Alderfen. Fair all through for correct breed type. Head, eye and expression all correct. Cobby in body with level topline. Bone and feet ok. Moved out well on the out and back and was well presented.

3 Mulla, Mullan, Watercroft Maybelene. Again ok all through but was not putting anything in on the move.

LB (3,2)

1 Tate, Dragon, Noragad’s Royal Flush with Jaeva. Eye catching individual of obvious merit. On inspection she is feminine in head which displays correct balance. Dark expressive oval eyes with good dentition all topped off with neat well placed ears. She is moderate in neck with good fill in forechest. She is well ribbed with a firm topline whilst standing on quality bone with neat compact round feet. On the move she displayed accurate footfalls on the out and back whilst holding an eye-catching profile on the go around. Pleased to award her the CC today. The reaction from her handler was a ‘joy’ and to hear the ringside celebrations was most satisfying and why was that, well this CC made her into a “UK Champion”. So congratulations to all concerned!

OB (3,1)

Two worthy “Ch”. Places will change!

1 Gee, Ch Watercroft Back in a Jiffy. All quality exhibit to go over. Full of good breed type. Correct in head which is feminine displaying correct proportions. Dark expressive oval eye. Moderate in neck with a good fill in forechest. Excellent in ribbing with solid topline. She stands on quality bone with correct round feet. She was presented in good order and moved out with style. Today the RCC and no disgrace here!

2 Thompson-Morgan, Ch Belleville Hope Star. so close up to the winner for type. Has plenty to admire all through. Head, eye and expression all good. Cobby in profile. Excellent bone and feet. Moved out well on the out and back and was well presented. Will change places I’m sure. A worthy “Ch” indeed.

SBB (2)

1 McDermott, Macdiarmade Alderfen (see Postgraduate Bitch) 2 Ward, Ward, Littlemount Lili. Needs time to develop all through. Fair in head, eye and expression. Needs to come together on the move.
