Norfolk Terriers

MPD (3)

1 Thompsom-Morgan’s Belleville Roll By, a compact, typy bitch with a good head, pleasing expression & neat ears. Good, well ribbed body with lovely bone & with good angulation, she moved well. Presented in a good jacket, she never showed herself off to best advantage. BP;

2 Phillips’ Blakens I look To You, another compact baby of good type that was presented in very good condition. She pleased in body, topline & angulation & quarters. He moved OK but not quite the head or movement of 1;

3 Mounfield’s Arderry Son Of A Gun.

PD (1)

1 Atkinson’s Boduf Trailblazer at Manybrook, a pleasing red with a masculine head, good eye & neat ears. Good in body, bone, quarters & angulation. In a good coat, he moved well behind but not quite true in front.

JD (2)

1 Atkinson’s Blakens Sugar Vandy Dips, a nicely balanced dog, good for size & type. Pleasing head & expression with a good eye & neat ears. Pleasing body & bone with a good topline & strong quarters. In a good coat, he moved well behind & OK in front;

2 Gee’s Watercroft In A Pickle, whilst not quite the size of 1 & I would have preferred a firmer topline, he makes a typy outline with pleasing angulation & well let down hocks. In a good coat & whilst his front construction did not impress he moved OK out & back.

ND (0).

PGD (4,2)

1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Roll Call, a typy dog, good for size with a pleasing head & expression. Good for body & bone & angulation. In a lovely rich red jacket, he moved OK but I would have preferred him a shade better with his front & stronger in hock;

2 Sumowski’s Jaeva Heads Up, a b/t who makes quite a stunning picture standing. Masculine head but not quite the expression of 1 & I would have preferred better dentition. Presented in a good jacket, I would have preferred truer front movement & a little more drive behind.

LD (3)

1 Phillips’ Blakens The Kandy Man Kan, good for size & type. Pleasing head & expression, good for body & bone, pleasing angulation with good strong hocks. Presented in a good jacket, he moved well;

2 Jenkins’ Kinsridge Quids In, a handsome red dog with a jacket of excellent colour & texture. Close up & sharing many of the attributes of 1 but not quite match him in front or hocks;

3 Sumowski’s Dreuf Zamlicze.

OD (4)

1 Thompson-Morgan’s Bellevilles Seduction, a handsome b/t dog who moved with the reach & drive I was looking for, while holding his typy outline. With a masculine head, good eye, well ribbed body & good firm topline, he is nicely balanced all through. Well presented in a good jacket, he never stopped showing. CC & BOB, which I understand gives him his title;

2 Newton’s Strathinver Smart Enough, a quality red with a good head & expression. Lovely well ribbed & well coupled body & pleasing forechest. Good in topline & angulation & in good coat, he moved well but I just preferred the profile movement & hocks of 1. RCC;

3 Jenkins’ Kindridge Cash Back.

MPB (9,1)

1 Gee’s Watercroft Top Tipple, a promising baby with the prettiest of heads, a good eye & neat ears. Pleasing body with a good topline, angulation & well let down hocks. She moved soundly;

2 Jenkins’ Kinsridge Top Tip, another promising baby who made a lovely typy outline. Good for size, I like her head & expression, body, topline & angulation. Well presented in a good coat, she moved well behind but not quite as well in front as 1;

3 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Summer Crunch.

PB (4,2)

1 Stevenson’s Brickin Surprise Surprise, a beautifully balanced baby, good for size breed type. Lovely head with a delightful expression & neat ears. Good, deep, well ribbed body with a neckline that flowed into a good topline, pleasing angulation with short hocks. In a good jacket, she moved well;

2 Gardener’s Perrisblu Liberty at Danalas, a sound moving bitch in a good jacket. Pleasing feminine head but not quite the eye of 1. Well ribbed body with a pleasing forechest but I would have preferred her a shade more compact. She showed well.

JB (6,2)

1 Phillips, Gullick & Tate’s Jaeva Play The Ace, another who took the eye as she entered the ring & did nothing to disappoint thereafter. Excellent type & beautifully balanced all through. Lovely head with a super expression & neat ears. Lovely flow of neck, through well placed shoulders into a good firm topline with a good set on & tail carriage. Deep, well ribbed body with nice tight elbows. Nicely angulated rear with short hocks. She moved well up & down & looked a picture in profile, moving with reach & drive. CC;

2 Gee’s Watercroft Hot Diamonds, a compact, typy bitch with a good head & expression. Good for body, topline, angulation & jacket. She showed very well but not quite the movement of 1;

3 Jenkins’ Strathiver Roses Are Red at Kinsridge.

NB (2)

1 Sumowski’s Draga Zamlicze, a typy b/t of good size with a feminine head & pleasing expression. Good topline, OK for body & angulation, she moved OK. Coat past its best;

3 MacCartney’s Nordalset Little Bit Of Sun, pleasing head & expression, OK for body but not quite as compact as 1. Good topline & lovely well muscled quarters. Moved OK but did not want to cooperate with her handler today.

PGB (4,2)

1 Atkinson’s Moortrop Again No Choice, good for size & type with a lovely rich red jacket. Feminine head with a pleasing expression & neat ears. Good body with nice tight elbows, good firm topline, good quarters, with plenty behind a correctly set tail. She moved & showed well;

2 Glynn’s Brenin Vital Spirit at Kenberlynn, a pretty headed bitch but I would have preferred her a shade stronger on foreface. Good for body & bone, with a correct topline & another with well muscled quarters. She showed well but not quite the movement of 1.

LB (3)

1 Saltmarsh’s Pipridges Hazel, typey red bitch with a pleasing head & expression. Good for body & bone with nicely muscled quarters. Best mover in the class;

2 Smith’s Javidel Definitely Maybe, a pretty headed bitch with a pleasing expression. She pleased in body but I would have preferred tighter elbows. Good topline & angulation Presented in good coat, she showed well but I would have preferred more precise movement.

OB (4,1)

1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Just Magic, a typy bitch, good for size & type, with a lovely rich red jacket. Good, well proportioned head with a nice eye & neat ears. Pleasing body & bone, with nice tight elbows. Good topline & set on with a correct tail. With a nicely angulated rear she moved well & was close up in the challenge where I just preferred the profile movement of the JB. RCC;

2 Phillips’ Ch Blakens Sugar Candy Kisses, good for size & type. A pretty headed bitch with pleasing expression & neat ears. Lovely compact body but I would have preferred tighter elbows. Good topline & angulation & a good jacket. She showed well but not quite the movement of 1;

3 Watercroft Top Of The Pops.
