NORFOLK RICHMOND 10 Judge: Mr Jeff Horswell (Drakesleat) NORFOLK JUDGE RICHMOND 10 Norfolk Terriers VD (0). PD (3,1a) Two very good pups. 1 Stevenson’s Brickin Better Be Good, in fuller coat, super head, lengthy neck, slightly better in front of these 2. Could be slightly shorter in back. Deep chest, super mover; 2 Devereux’s Vichea Pick Pocket, lovely cobby dog. Would like better front. Firm in topline, very good rear & true out & back, coat ready to come out. JD (3,1) 1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Lord Angel, 8 months & full of himself, super type, short back, cobby body, masculine head, dark eye, neat ears, lengthy neck, well laid shoulder, tight elbows, very good rear, sound mover & in super coat. BP & RCC; 2 Atkinson’s Wharfvalley Diamond Bright at Moortop, in lovely coat & moves with long stride, very good head, flatish skull. Slightly wide in front. Big ribs, strong topline. Not shortness of 1. Very good rear. PGD (0). LD (2) 1 Jenkins’ Kinsridge Top Gun, super for type, short back & cobby, liked his masculine head, fairly good front. Just turns feet out a fraction. Super ribs & topline, quite well bent stifle & low hocks, true on the move; 2 List’s Settrenda Alfie Mac from Nicnips, good type. Not quite the topline of 1. Very good head, lengthy neck, straight front, in super coat. Moves a bit close behind. OD (2) 1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Angello, super for type, full of himself, well proportioned head, dark eyes & well set ears giving super expression, good neck, straight front legs. Would like longer upper arm. Super ribs, firm topline, well let down hock, moved well. CC: 2 Stevenson’s Ch Penmire Wild Bramble by Brickin, very good cobby type of dog. Can be careless with one ear. Very well proportioned head, good strong neck, well made front but not legs of 1. Super body & rib, well made rear. Tail detracts a little. In full coat. VB (1) 1 Hess & Higgins’ Tomomayo Tiger Bright at Umbrage, typy bitch, coat just starting to come through. Good head, full set of big teeth, enough neck, well made front & rear, super ribs, moved well. PB (3) 1 Bettesworth’s Kapitada Free Spirit, very good type. Just using rear a bit better here. Feminine head, dark eyes, good length neck, in good coat, well sprung ribs, firm topline. Goes a bit close behind although super in profile; 2 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Silk Stockings, similar & close up, still in her puppy coat. Feminine head, good neck. Could be longer in upper arm. Level topline, well ribbed, well set tail; 3 List’s Nicnips Anya. JB (4,1) 1 Phillips’ Blakens Toffee Kisses, super young bitch, lovely for type, feminine in head, neat ears, OK for neck. Maybe slightly broad in front as yet. Short back, firm topline, very good ribs, well made rear, true moving with lengthy stride, loved her outline & showmanship. CC & BOB; 2 Hess & Higgins’ Umbrage Sparch Grove, very showy & typy, in super coat, nice head, enough neck. Feet could be better. Firm topline. Just a fraction longer than 1. True rear action; 3 Smith’s Richell Play Off. PGB (2) 1 Phillips’ Vision Express at Blakens, showy, slightly more compact than 2, feminine head, dark eye, lengthy neck. Slightly forward in shoulder & slopes in topline. Good legs & feet, well sprung ribs, short loin, tail high set, straight, low hocks; 2 Howard’s Hatchwoods Flamenco, big ribs. Carrying slightly too much weight. Lovely head, dark eyes & super expression. Shoulders set a bit wide. In harsh jacket, uses rear well. LB (4) 1 Cooper’s Settrenda Saucy Sox, very good type, feminine in head, ears OK for set, fair neck, cobby body, super topline, fair front, super ribs, balanced front & rear so strides out so well, in super coat; 2 Hess & Higgins’ Kapitada Fireopal at Umbrage, slightly longer bitch, in super coat, good head, ears OK, well off for neck. A bit wide in front. Big ribs, good depth, went well; 3 Devereux’s Vichea Dot And Carry. OB (7,2) 1 Hurrion’s Valentines Cherry Crumble, lovely type, short back & cobby body, liked her feminine head, well made front, firm topline, good bend of stifle, fair & balanced stride, in super body coat, Furnishings a tad soft. RCC; 2 Mountfield & Tate’s Settrenda Sauce Pot with Jaeva, just a fraction longer cast & not in as full coat. Sound & showy girl, super head, alert, good neck, firm topline, balanced in angulation; 3 Matell’s Cracknor Custom Made. |
