TERRIER BREEDS OF IRELAND STAKES CLASSES & BIS Judge John Bunting
The Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier Club hosted a special open show at the Kennel Club's new building at Stoneleigh, inviting the Kerry Blue, Irish and Glen of Imaal Terriers to take part, to celebrate their 55th anniversary as a Club.
A well run show with such a friendly atmosphere, the judging was sportingly accepted and the hospitality was second to none. I offer my sincere thanks to all concerned.
BIS was Ch Kerrykeel Ronan, Irish, well balanced dog, correct head, good length of neck, well laid shoulders, strong back & loin, racy outline with good set-on & sound hindquarters, in splendid coat & condition, excellent ring presence & showmanship.
RBIS, Kamagban Ace Lynnsto, Kerry Blue, nIce type, head of correct proportion, well set ears, dark eye, good front assembly, deep chest, short coupled, used his quarters well on the move.
BPIS, Garsayno Gold Freeman, SCWT, 7 months, pleasing head, correct dark pigment & eye, good general conformation, excelled in neck & shoulders, level topline & turn of stifle, moved freely. Coming along nicely.
RBPIS, Romainville Lily, Glen of Imaal Imaal, almost 10 months, lovely feminine head & typical expression, nicely developed in chest, ribs & body for age, pleasing outline & quarters, moved OK.
BJIS, Fantasa Blonde Lilley, SCWT, promising young bitch, very feminine & well balanced with a lovely outline, super neck & shoulders, short coupled, good quarters & set-on, moved well, held topline both on the move & standing.
BV Ch Kariskiye Kyanite Kizmet, SCWT, I awarded this dog a CC five years ago, now a nine year old and still in fine fettle. Lovely balanced outline with well proportioned head, good neck & shoulders, correct topline, nicely constructed hindquarters, showing & moving well.
Best Breeder, Munn's SCWT, well matched group displaying a pleasing uniformity in type, moving & showing in perfect harmony, a credit to their owners.
STAKES – PD/B (3,la)
I Kanjuley Scarlet and Gold, SCWT, almost 7 months, lovely bitch puppy of type & size that I like for age, very feminine, good outline & balance, pleasing head properties, good topline & set-on, nicely angulated hindquarters, showing to advantage;
2 Sawheaten Twasn't Me, SCWT, dog, just under 11 months, shade more length of leg than 1, coat of pleasing texture & colour, adequate depth of chest & spring of rib for age, nicely turned quarters. Would prefer a better tail carriage.

1 Granemore Padraig of Cranmoss, Kerry Blue, well balanced, very good head, well placed eye & ear, nicely boned front, good depth of body, short coupled & well knit, good set-on, well presented, clean & well conditioned. Moved OK;
2 Holbam Winslow King, Irish, racy dog displaying pleasing outline, good head, dark eye, pleasing topline, tailset & rear angulation, showed good rapport with handler;
3 Snowmeadow Oolla O'Luna, SCWT, liked her as a puppy, still shows promise, in good order. Scores in type & conformation, lovely size, outline & balance, moved & handled well.

1 Weatawaite Bombay Saphire, SCWT, typy bitch, coat of pleasing colour, typical head pattern, dark eye & good pigmentation, ample neck, firm level topline, stands four square, decent quarters, moved freely;
2 Orliscwt Lillee The Pink, SCWT, bitch of Irish type, good coat texture but a shade pale in colour, head of good proportions, dark eye & correct bite, nicely constructed, good neck, shoulders, depth of rib, topline & set-on;
3 Orliscwt Bobbin Along CD, SCWT, litter brother to 2 & of similar qualities. Better coat colour than 2, tail a tad low set, moved a bit close behind.

I Starzak Solid Gold Ez Action JW, SCWT, nicely made bitch, correct for size, type & balance, compact, stands four square. Lovely head with neat ears, sound forehand, neck & topline with good depth to rib, shapely quarters, free moving;
2 Glendowan Going For Gold, SCWT, slightly taller bitch but well proportioned, good in head, neck & shoulders, level top line, pleasing depth to ribcage with strong loin, well let down hocks, never stopped showing, just preferred front movement of 1;
3 Ruffmar Bronzed Ballerina, Irish Terrier, bitch, good head, neck & shoulders, pleasing balanced profile, good hindquarters & set-on, nicely presented, moved OK.

) I Ch Ir Ch Snowmeadow Jellybean Jilly, JW ShCM, SCWT, quality bitch, lovely balanced outline, desired head with good pigmentation, correct shoulder placement with good front & excellent bone, legs & feet, firm topline, good quarters & tailset, handled & moved well;
2 Ch/ Bel Ch Brockland Brayhead Lad, G of Imaal Terrier, blue, head of good width & length, well set ears, good stop & dark eye, strong muscular neck, sufficient width of front, ample-bow &-bone, good rib; muscle & substance, moved adequately;
3 Ch Caidantes That's Ma Boy, SCWT, good for type, excellent outline & balance, masculine head, dark pigment, good front, mature in ribs & body, soundly made, moved sufficiently & well handled.
VD/B (6,3a)
I Ir Ch Snowmeadow Isabella Ingles, CW06, SCWT, bitch, nearly 8Y2 year old, good for size, pretty feminine head, good ear & eye, nice outline with good topline & tailset, moved with an easy gait. In good order;
2 Ch Ir/Ch Snowmeadow Hetti Hopscotch At Starzak, ShCM, SCWT, bitch of almost 9 years of age, in first-rate condition, good head, neck, shoulders, well boned, pleasing conformation, soft silky coat, close up to 1;
3 Montelle Night Star, Irish Terrier, bitch of lOll, years, active & nicely made, in good coat & condition, moved & showed OK.
Brace (3,2a)
I Ford & McMurray's Kanjuley Con Moto, two Wheaten bitches, so similar in make & shape with pleasing overall conformation, lovely temperaments, bright & confident, showing & moving in unison
