Airedale Terriers

I must also thank them for the opportunity of taking over the duties of Sue Allroyd, who unfortunately through illness was unable to attend. I would like to offer her & her family my thoughts & best wishes.

I had many fine exhibits before me & I was completely satisfied with my eventual decisions.

I did have one or two disappointments especially when those exhibits who were fine examples of the breed – such as misbehaving on the table – & condition is also critically important; one or two needed a little more attention within this quarter, coats were questionable! A little soft & not hard & dense & lacking under coat.

JD (1)

1 Steinke’s Temtiz African Zulu Warrior, fine looking youngster, strong nicely balanced head, powerful jaws, excellent dentition, muscular neck leading into well placed shoulder, excellent front elevation & profile, deep rib, short back, ample angulation, moved like a puppy of quality should. RBD.

PGD (0).

OD (1)

1 Morris’ Nedella A Kind Of Magic, this fellow stood alone, powerful well balanced head, excellent bone, short back, grand angulation. Though he had many points in his favour presentation was not one, he lacked animation & his movement was lack lustre, laid back a little too much spoiling his outline. BD.

JB (2)

1 Fernandez & Purnell’s Muliebrity Rilletta, balanced head, powerful jaws, clean scissor bite, tremendous expression, fine construction, on her toes all the time, ample bone, grand front elevation, deep rib, short back, tremendous angulation, moved like a winner should. RBB, BP & PG3;

2 Steinke’s Emtizt African Flame Lily, superbly presented in tremendous condition, needs just a little more time to develop. Clean well boned front, tight feet, fine expression, well balanced head, grand dentition, tidy ears, hindquarters filling as they should, moved well.

PGB (1)

1 Fraser’s Edenros Moon Shine, another one from the top drawer, well developed, excellent outline, balanced head, clean scissor bite, powerful jaws, great front elevation & profile, ample stifle, well off for bone, clean feet, moved with drive.

OB (5)

1 Moore’s Toulsyork Elegant Emphasis, tremendous construction, needs tidying up a little, however this did not spoil her outline, as her quality was obvious. Well balanced powerful head, strong jaws, clean dentition, tidy front, ample bone, level topline, short coupled, grand angulations, moved with drive & with a sense of purpose. BOB;

2 Edington-Hall’s Wendaire Jokers Angels Kiss, another from the top shelf, powerful construction but feminine, well presented, handled to perfection, grand front elevation & profile, looked good on the move;

3 Fraser’s Edenros Moon Shine.
