PARSON JACK RUSSELL BOURNEMOUT 11 Judge: Mr C Powell PARSON JACK RUSSELL JUDGE BOURNEMOUTH 11 Parson Russell Terriers VD 1 Rimmer’s Ch/Ir Ch/Int Ch Kylini Celtic Wizard, 11 years, I have judged before & still enjoying himself in the ring, still as fit & as hard as in his younger years, in good coat & moved with ease. BV. PD (2) 1 Baker’s Pacolito Prymeval, maturing nicely, good head, eye & ears, straight front, good outlines & tailset, moved with ease, in good coat. BP; 2 Newport’s Digaden Plating The Field, clean-cut pup with good keen expression. A youngster that needs to mature. Correct bite, dark eye, nice shoulders, moved well. JD (2) Both unsettled. 1 Hooley’s Hoolmark Sundance Kid, pleasing head shape, nice neck & shoulders, easily spanned, in good coat & moved soundly once settled down; 2 Eastwood’s Pacalito Rouge Trader at Denlyill, another pup of quality, clean head, dark eye, correct bite, good outlines, moved OK & in good coat, close decision. PGD (1) 1 Griffiths’ Digaden Windrush Chase, tanned headed with good expression, keen & alert. A bit thick in the chest. Strong rear thighs with plenty of drive, great muscletone & good tailset, moved well keeping a good topline. LD (5) 1 Vaughan’s Parruss Comanche Chief, smooth with black head & collar, the best mover & constructed dog in the class, typical head of type, nice straight front with good feet, good topline & strong quarters, good tailset, in fit hard condition; 2 Newport & Baker’s Ratscallion Tactical Play, hard & fit with good expression, good front & shoulders, spannable, nice length, powerful quarters, moved well; 3 Eastwood’s Pacolito Preshous at Denlhill. OD (3) 1 Tagg’s Rymshott Tac Tic, plenty of ring presence about him, full of quality & type, bang on & fits the Standard to a tee, well balanced, sound in all departments, pleasing head shape, correct bite, straight front & topline, good angulations, hard & fit with the best of coats, moved true covering the ground with ease. CC, his third & BOB; 2 Hooley’s Ch Hoolmark Jonny Ringo, another dog of type & quality. Not the substance of 1 but a lot to like about him. Good all round from whichever angle viewed, sound in movement, easily spanned & in first class condition. RCC; 3 Swift & Parr’s Spellbert Captain Jack. VB (0). PB (8) 1 Baker’s Pacolito Milarki, well balanced puppy with good expression, dark eyes, correct bite, nice front & feet, good angles wherever viewed from, good muscletone for such a young age. BPB; 2 Luxton’s Digaden Play Girl, another very good puppy of type, good head & front, nice balanced look for her age, good pigmentation, good angulations, moved well; 3 Nixon’s Gonetogroun Go For Gold. JB (4) 1 Chapman’s Foxwarren Mystic Dream, nice type with good head & expression, good body & spannable, strong quarters with good angulations, moved well, in good coat; 2 Coogan’s Pacolito Phorbidden, another good bitch, good pigmentation, nice front & feet, easily spanned, good rear movement & in good coat; 3 Swift’s Spellbert Captain Alvilda. PGB (2) 1 Smith’s Bethane Liberton Lassie, quality Standard bitch with a lot to like about her, well balanced & of good type, nice size, good expression, nice front & feet, kept a good topline on the move, good coat & pelt. Played up in the final line-up; 2 Van Ohhen’s Heyevy Of Lovealoch, nice head, eyes & ears. Moved well but carrying a little weight & not the coat of 1. LB (7) 1 Tagg’s Hoomark Tidy, as in her name, very tidy this one, got it all except maturity but that will come, one that is destined to go all the way, full of type & well balanced, consider hard for RCC; 2 Eastwood’s Pacolito Phigurehead at Denlyhill, another good bitch, good pigmentation, nice front & feet, spannable, good rear movement. Just preferred the overall picture of 1; 3 Walker’s Ammanday Apple. OB (6) 1 Swift’s Pacolito Picture Monkey, took my eye on entering the ring, a bitch of quality, type & balance, sound in all departments, pleasing head shape, correct bite, straight front & topline, good angulations, hard & fit with the best of coats, moved true covering the ground with ease. CC; 2 Baker’s Pacolito Persuit, another good bitch, good pigmentation, nice front & feet, just spannable, good rear movement. Just preferred the overall picture & fitness of 1. Good tailset & moved well. RCC; 3 Smith’s Bethane Hulabaloo. COLIN POWELL |
