PARSON RUSSELL JUDGE DRIFFIELD 18
Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge, my two wonderful stewards and to the exhibitors for their entries. It was an enjoyable day. The dogs were a pleasure to judge and it was lovely to see such camaraderie around the rings, especially for exhibitors new to the breed. It was also extremely pleasing to see several dogs presented in hard condition.

1 HENSBY Mr & Mrs A Chadbrook Puzzle Master - 13 month old tri male, up to size. Good broken coat and presented in good condition. I would prefer greater balance between length of leg and depth of chest, but this may come with maturity. Moved okay, once settled.

1 HOOLEY Mrs M & Mr M Hoolmark Johnny Guitar - 20 month old tan and white dog. A strong head, correct bit, neat ears, with good reach of neck. He moved out well with purpose and was presented in fit condition, retaining his topline on the move. Well presented and handled. A happy disposition and a handy sized dog of good construction. BD, BoB
2 BIBBY Mrs R Ansabak Ryn - Tan and white dog of similar age to 1. A strong head and dark eye. Good pelt and coat. Deeper in chest than 1, being less spannable, and not as settled on the move or on the table.

1 STURDY Mr & Mrs J Alncroft Imperial - A well balanced, workmanlike dog. At six years he is beginning to show his age, but he retains a keen expression. Strong head, good bite and neat ears. Good angulation and moved well once settled. Well handled and presented, with merit in his harsh, waterproof coat and pelt. RBD.

1 TOWLER Mrs F Ansabak Sintara - Much to like in this handy sized 19 month bitch. A well shaped head with a keen expression and a good reach of neck. Good front and easily spannable. Moved okay but may tighten with maturity. RBB
2 STURDY Mr & Mrs J Alncroft In Time – a good head with neat ears and set onto a clean neck. Wider in front than is desirable but moved okay. Presented a balanced outline.
3 SHELTON Mr & Mrs C & L Boultmoor True Delight
