PARSON RUSSELL EAST OF ENGLAND 23 Judge: Mrs F M Chapman-King PD (1) 1 Heythrop Tamar (Bigland) Typical youngster who needs more time to finish. Masculine head, good ears, could have a better eye. Good legs and feet, long enough and well set on. Good outline, coat and pelt. Would not co-operate with his young handler on the move. Spannable. 1 Heythrop Toptag (Bigland) Pleasing type, workmanlike and balanced all through. Good head and eye, clean front, good legs and feet, easy to span, good ribbing and topline, well set on, strong quarters used on the move. 2 Mindlen Moki (Roberts & Murray) Smart youngster, close up to 1. Very good head, ear set and expression. Good neck and run in, pleasing front, good to span, good bone, legs and feet. Well made quarters. In good order and thick pelt. Moved well. Preferred overall balance of 1. 3 Vixenview Zorro (Lynch) 1 Just Top Russell to Pacolito (Imp Blr) (Knight) Good head and eye, pleasing overall proportions, good layback, topline and excellent quarters. Strong bone, good coat and pelt. Just to span and up to size. Moved and showed well. Res CC. 2 Partridgdale Flynn (Hobson) Pleasing and typical head, not the overall balance proportions of 1. Coat on the blow. Okay in pelt. 3 Afinlea Pale Tussock (Brown) 1 Pacolito Resurrection (Baker) Typical workmanlike dog of good size. Pleasing masculine head, ear set and expression. Enough neck, ribs well back, good topline and tailset, strong quarters. Good bone and feet, spannable. In harsh dense coat and thick pelt. Moved out with purpose and drive. Perhaps a touch heavy all through, but could not be denied CC. 2 Ch Mindlen Hendricks at Cassjoebar (Casson) Most pleasing head and neat ears, could have cleaner shoulders. Good to span, pleasing topline, good quarters and moved well. Thick loose pelt, coat on the blow. 3 Lux/bel/Int Ch Double Barrels Dreams to Reality (Hadley) 1 Digaden Top Hat and Tails (Smith) Good head, clean shoulder, well proportioned body, good bone and good quarters. In good coat and pelt. Moved out well enough. 2 Ch Pacolito Protolythic (Porter) Typical and good size with a lovely head and eye, good bone and feet, good topline and tailset. A touch upright in front and out of coat today. 1 Frithgarth Stone Meadow (Hall) Nice eye and skull, well made quarters and shown in good coat and pelt. Upright in front and moved better going than coming too. 1 Vixenview Witches Broom (Lynch) Typical and pleasing feminine head and eye. Good forehand and easy to span. Well made quarters used on the move and shown in good coat and pelt. 2 Ruffntuff Tears of Joy (Hughes) Needs more time to finish, not as developed in head as 1, good to span, fair forehand, good quarters. Moved out well enough. 3 Proveits Harlequin Flower (Anderson) 1 Alncroft Foxtrot (Smith) Typical, quality puppy, good for size and balance. Feminine head yet to finish, good eye and expression. Straight narrow front, clean shoulders, good to span, ribs well back, not overdone. Well proportioned body and balance all through, well made quarters. Moved and handled very well. BP. 2 Afinlea Willow Beauty (Brown) Bigger type, could not match the overall outlook and balance of 1. Okay in head and good in coat, pelt and quarters. 1 Dramalex She Is A Belter (Holland) Typical and good size. Pleasing in head and dark keen eye. Well made quarters. Good pelt and to span. Short of coat today. Moved well enough. 1 Heythrop Taranna (Bigland) Typical and workmanlike and of good size, with feminine head, eye could be darker. Easily spanned, okay in forehand, straight bone, good proportions and balance, pleasing topline and tailset. Good pelt, coat a touch on the blow but texture good. Moved well. 2 Ruffntuff Rush of Love (Hughes) Good head, ears could be better. A touch upright, just to span, balanced quarters. Not the overall balance of 1. Moved fairly well. 3 Digaden Top Notch (Smith) 1 Muhlross Magic Diamond (Newstead) Workmanlike and of good size. Feminine head and keen eye, good front, pleasing in body and of good proportions, good quarters and set on. In good coat and thick pelt. Not holding her topline at times. Moved well. 2 Heythrop Tangletop (Bigland) Typical with a good head and topline, better than 1. Well made quarters and a good pelt and coat. Preferred proportions of 1. Moved fairly well. 3 Malenkhai Miss Vanilla Ice at Proveits (Anderson) 1 Ch Mindlen Moccasin (Roberts & Murray) Typical and workmanlike quality bitch with a pleasing femine head and keen expression. Easily spanned, narrow front, clean shoulder, good topline, good quarters, well bent stifle, ribbed up but not overdone, moved out very well on good legs and feet. Good pelt and coat and well handled to show off her virtues. CC. BOB and Group placed 4. 2 Tophead Saffron (Newstead) Quality feminine bitch of good size and type, close up to 1. Wedge shaped head and neat ears, straight front and clean shoulders, easy to span, good ribs, pleasing outline and rise over loin to well set tail. Well made quarters used on the move. An overall picture of balance and correct topline with a harsh coat and good pelt. RCC. 3 Vixenview Miss Cash (Lynch) 1 Alncroft Isle See (Hobson) Smart feminine bitch of good size with a pleasing head. Enough bone, good feet, could have more layback, good body properties and enough behind. Fair to span. Moved out well. 2 Pacolito Italian Phaze (Porter) Lovely head and eye. Taller than 1., good front, good pelt, very good coat and condition, moved well. Not as well proportioned as 1. 3 Boultmoor True Delight (Shelton) |
