I enjoyed my day judging the Parsons at Leeds with a nice entry of 42 of quality dogs, thanks to the officers and committee for their invite. With the high temperatures of previous days it was a lot cooler and better for all.

PD (4,1)

1. Johnston’s Foxfur Magician. Pleasing head on this smooth coated youngster, good eye, correct bite, nice spanable body with thick pelt, well set tail, went well.

2. Broadberry’s Ratscallion Ricochet. Broken coated, lovely head, well set ears, good bite, pleasing body with coat coming through, bit erratic and needs training but moved true.

3. Aspell/Dixon’s Scapegrace Echo.

JD (2)

1. Casson’s Mindlen Hendricks. Neat well balanced dog with tan head markings, well set ears, good bite, nice front and feet, pleasing neck to spanable body, good quarters and well set tail, in good coat and pelt, went well.

2. Hobson’s Partridgdale Flynn. Up to size, nice head and expression with tan patch, pleasing front with tight feet, in good coat, bit heavy in body, moved and handled well.

LD (3)

1. Walker’s Digaden Top Form. Tidy tri headed dog of nice type and balance, pleasing head and expression with well set ears, correct bite, best of fronts with good shoulders, nice outline with roach over loin and well set tail, good quarters, went well.

2. Manson’s Vixenview Knightsbridge. Fit dog, hard as nails and moved well, not the expression of 1 and a tad wide in front, tan headed with correct bite, harsh coated, handled well.

OD (4,1)

1. Smith’s Ch. Heythrop Task Master for Alncroft. Lovely balanced Parson that oozes type, so much to like about him with lovely tan head with well set ears, good bite, correct eye, best of fronts with well laid shoulders, tight feet, pleasing neck, spanable body with ribs back, correct double coat with thick pelt, presented a nice outline with well set tail and gentle roach over loins, nice quarters which gave him good drive, moving true to DCC & BOB.

2. McCluskey’s Ch. Chadbrook Sunfire. Lovely expression on this quality dog, carries his title well with pleasing spanable body, nice neck to well laid shoulders, in good coat and condition, presented a nice outline, moved and handled well to RDCC.

3. Newport’s Ch. Cudweed’s Master Of The Hounds (imp DNK). Another pleasing dog that made up a quality trio.

VD (2)

1. Broadberry’s Ch. Foxthorn Huron at Ratscallion. Tan headed with black tail patch, nice expression with good eye and correct bite, pleasing front with well laid shoulders, still spanable with nice overall length with ribs back, well set tail and good quarters, nice moving dog that belies his age.

2. Duke/Gill’s Ir Ch. Rushden Gorgeous George CJW13 CW13 Jun Ch. Tan headed with nice eye and correct bite, nice lovely coat and condition with ribs back and spanable body and well set tail, moved and handled well.

SBD/B (3)

1. Aspell/Dixon’s Scapegrace Buffy. Neat balanced bitch in lovely coat and condition, pleasing spanable body, nice feminine head, eye could be darker, well handled, BSpB.

2. Aspell/Dixon’s Scapegrace Echo. Nice head and expression on this young dog, happy dog who was 3rd in puppy, spanable body, moved and handled well.

3. Aspell/Dixon’s Riosset Rip Roaring at Scapegrace.

PB (3,1)

1. Evans/Barnes’ Bellvalley’s Kissed By Fire. Tan headed balanced youngster, lovely head with neat well set ears, correct bite, best of fronts, good feet, pleasing body with ribs back, nice overall and in lovely coat and condition, well handled to Best Puppy.

2. Young’s Chadbrook Chance’s Legacy. Tan headed with good eye and bite, ears bit long, spanable body, in good coat with thick pelt, went well.

JB (2)

1. Smith’s Mindless Monopoly of Alncroft. Pleasing head with tan markings, nice eye, good bite, best of fronts, nice neck to well laid shoulders, spanable body and presented a lovely outline, nice moving puppy that went well.

2. Rimmer’s Plunkett Prosecco. Tan headed with black body patch, nice head and expression, correct bite, pleasing spanable body, bit close in movement.

PGB (4)

1. Anderson’s Drailam Foxglove. Nice headed bitch with dark eye and good bite, lovely front, nice neck to well laid shoulders, spanable and nice overall with well set tail and good double coat, moved and handled well.

2. Broadberry’s Forgefox Fern for Ratscallion. Another nice bitch with good coat, pleasing head and expression with dark eye, good bite, well laid shoulders, good all round but carried some weight! Get it off!

3. Laird’s Drailam Foxtrot.

1. Young’s Chadbrook Affirmation. Tan headed strong bitch, dark eye, good bite, straight front with good feet, nice neck to well laid shoulders, spanable body with ribs back and strong quarters, harsh double coat with thick pelt, moved and handled well.

2. Newport’s Digaden Miss Marigold. Pleasing tan headed bitch, good eye and bite, good spanable body with ribs back, presented a nice outline, moved and handled well.

3. Broadberry’s Forgefox Fern for Ratscallion.

OB (5)

1. Roberts/Murray’s Ch. Mindlen Moccasin. Lovely expression on this typy bitch, darkest of eyes, good bite, presented a pleasing outline with nice neck to well laid shoulders, nice depth to spanable body, strong quarters, correct double coat with thick pelt, bit of a fidget but moved true both ways, moved and handled well to BCC.

2. Newport’s Digaden Spill The Beans. Tan headed bitch with nice expression, eye could be darker, good bite, good front and shoulders, pleasing spanable body, in good coat with thick pelt, moved and handled well.

3. McCluskey’s Chadbrook Elka.

VB (4,1)

1. Rimmer’s Ir Ch. Kylini Mona Lisa JW. Tan headed golden oldie, typy bitch that moved true, pleasing head and expression, well set ears, good eye and bite, spanable body of nice length, rough coated with thick pelt, well handled and went with drive to RBCC & BV.

2. Neild’s Logierait Little Lotte VW. 12 years old and still enjoyed the day out, nice expression with dark eye and well set ears, correct mouth, pleasing body, moved and handled well.

3. Laird’s Mindlen Freyja at Drailam.
