PARSON RUSSELL MANCHESTER 19 Judge: Mr Max King BEST OF BREED : 4762 BROADBERRY Mr J G & Dr S H Ch Mindlen Magnum At Ratscallion PARSON RUSSELL JUDGE MANCHESTER 19 PD (1) 1. Broadberry’s Ratscallian Utah. 8 mths and developing nicely, liked overall size and proportions, good mouth, head coming on well, needs a bit more maturing but all essentials in place, not always settling on the move. JD (1.1) Abs. PGD (1) 1 Bibby’s Ansabak Ryn. Not always using ears to advantage which detracted from expression, deep chest, good topline, tended to move a little close behind. LD (2) 1. Bigland’s Hethrop Taggert. 2 yrs, nice overall size and balance, wedge shaped head, good bite, well set ears, clean cut front, spanned OK, tended to play up on the move as he was distracted by the smells in the ring. 2. Smith, Smith & Smith’s Heythrop Task Master for Alncroft. Carrying a bit too much weight for me and just managed to span, preferred coat of 1, good rear angulation. OD (5) Excellent Class. 1. Broadberry’s Ch Mindlen Magnum at Ratscallion. Worthy Champion and a credit to Breeder and Owner, liked overall ring presence and workmanlike appearance, balanced and natural without exaggeration or coarseness, strong head, powerful jaw, keen expression, well laid neck flowing well into correct shoulders, nice body proportions, good rear angulation, well muscled producing good driving movement. Dog CC and BOB. 2. Newport’s Ch Digadem Pitch Perfect. Another one with lots to like and deserving of Title, a little more all over than 1 but all in proportion, good head and ears, well made body, in very good coat, moved true. Res Dog CC. 3. Smith & Moon’s Ch Heythrop Trickshot for Alncroft. PB (7.3) 1. Neild’s Logierait Luna. Judged her previously just 6 weeks ago in a Puppy group, and I can see the development and improvements in such a short time, clean cut outline, typical head and ears, very good front construction, showed to advantage on the floor and on the table, but not as confident on the move. 2. Young’s Tammenkolon Unit. Almost 12 mths and requires a bit more time, not always helping herself by carrying ears to the side, moved soundly. 3. Kanngara’s Logierait Loretta, JB (4) 1. Smith & Moon’s Alncroft In A Spin. Very nice type and typical example from this Kennel, good size for age, well balanced, good head and expression, correct bite, well placed shoulders, nice body with correct tail set and carriage, well boned. Moved Ok at times but was easily distracted. 2. Newport’s Digadem Tip Top. 8 mths and conceding a lot on age at this stage of development, but very nice type with lots of potential, head coming on well but not as forwards as 1, nice body proportions, coating developing nicely, settled to move OK. BP. 3. L Luna. PGB (4) 1. Bigland’s Ardencote Teach in with Heythrop. Feminine appearance, good skull and ear set and carriage, nice length of neck, well made shoulders, good front construction, nice body with excellent coat, moved OK. 2. Chaffe’s Pacolito Rumourmonger. Taller type than 1, strong muzzle, nice body, coat would benefit from more attention to presentation, moved true. 3. Laird’s Drailam Honky Tonk Woman. LB (4) 1. Young‘s Chadbrook Elka. Smaller type but in good proportions and presenting a very feminine appearance, clean cut outline, liked head shape, good mouth, eye and ears all adding to attractive expression, well made body, coat could have been better, moved soundly. Res BCC. 2. Newport’s Digadem Just So. Larger type than 1 but OK to span, good head, deep chest, not as positive on the move as 1. 3. Chaffe’s Rougeau Simply Sessy. OB (6) 1. Dayman & Cole’s Pacalito Phinal Edition. Quality bitch with all the right proportions, liked overall type and balance, good head and ear carriage, nice length of neck flowing well into good topline, well boned, not always carrying tail to advantage, in good coat, moved well both ways. Bitch CC. 2. Smith & Moon’s Ch Alncroft Tussie. Pushed winner very close, but preferred head and movement of 1, good balance and breed type. 3. Robert’s Mindlen Muskett. VB (1) 1. Kannagara’s Sheresco Christmas Rose, 10 yrs old and showing no real signs of age, good mouth, appears a little leggy, overall coat and condition a credit to owner. BV.
