Parson Russell Terriers

A very nice entry with some close decisions. I did notice, however, a number with too many missing teeth which I consider a bad fault in a working terrier. There were also two or three with kinks in their tails which may be due to an accident, of course.

PD (3)

1 Chapman’s Foxwarren Traveller, pleasing head, eye & ears, nice neck & shoulders, good legs & feet, firm hindquarters, moved soundly. Very promising. BPD;

2 Rutter’s Boultmoor Badge Of Honor, younger & not yet the feet of 1. Nice strong foreface & jaw, shows promise in hindquarters. Not as pleasing in tail carriage & needs to come together on the move, but still very young.

JD (4)

1 Rimmer’s Kylini Celtic Tiger, shapely puppy, pleasing head, good neck & shoulders, nice topline & tail carriage, good hindquarters. More body markings than ideal, but is a very typical shape & moved well;

2 Blair & Hadley’s Cleeve Hill Kasper, good coat, nice bone & limbs, well developed thighs. Not as good in tail which showed on the move, a little heavy in girth. Good ears;

3 Denby-Gardner’s Ammanday Able.

PGD (4)

1 Hooley’s Hoolmark Sundance Kid, very pleasing & a good show dog, good bone, legs & feet, nice body & rib, well made hindquarters, good tail, pleasing head & ears, good eyes with plenty of expression, nice coat. Could be a little more positive in front action, but side & hind were very good & he has plenty of time to mature;

2 K Celtic Tiger;

3 Hall’s Frithgarth Magic Sandpiper.

LD (3)

1 Bigland’s Heythrop Tailwind, pleasing head with nice strength, good neck & shoulders, nice outline. Could be a little stronger in second thigh;

2 Baker & Swift’s Pacolito Phirstprize, had more strength in hindquarters, good reach & shoulders. Could be stronger in pasterns & not in the best condition here. Good strength in jaw, nice eyes;

3 Newport’s Digaden Playing Away.

OD (10)

1 Vaughan’s Ch Parruss Comanche Chief, in great form, his coat & condition stood out, pleasing head, good neck, shoulders & topline, nice strong hindquarters, moved & showed well. CC;

2 Smith & Moon’s Ch Alncroft Blackthorn, very nice dog, good head, full of expression, shapely, nice bone & limbs, pleasing neck & shoulder, moved well. RCC;

3 Baker & Swift’s Spellbert Captain Jack.

PB (10)

1 Hooley’s Hoolmark Boppin Robyn, lovely puppy, well balanced for age, true front, legs & feet, good hindquarters, moved well. BP;

2 Taylor’s Jappatin Pinacolada at Foxthorn, very promising, nice body & shape, good limbs. Moved well, but got a bit bored by the end;

3 Bigland’s Pacolito Phinal Phling.

JB (5)

1 Liddelll’s Lyonmill Daydream, pleasing head & eyes, good neck & shoulders, nice outline, firm hindquarters, nice coat & condition, shows lots of promise;

2 Collis’ Riplington Black Cherry, very nice head, good neck & shoulderline but 1 scored in upper arm. Nice bone & limbs, well bodied, well developed thighs;

3 Jones’ Neelan’s Practical Magic.

PGB (6)

1 Harrison’s Digaden Pathleader, looked good on the move, very nice jaw & eyes, nice bone, legs & feet, good coat texture, pleasing width to thighs, intelligently handled by a young man;

2 Tinegate’s Gonetoground Gogo Girl, looked well standing with a good textured smooth coat, nice limbs & hindquarters. Dipped at the shoulder on the move;

3 Neild’s Logierait Little Lotte.

LB (11)

1 Baker & Swift’s Pacolito Phirstedition, very appealing mature bitch, good head, very expression, good neck, shoulders, topline & tail, well made, strong hindquarters, in good coat & condition. RCC;

2 White’s Ebblechase Elspeth, good bone, legs & feet, nice hindquarters &t ail, arched neck, looked well on the move;

3 Jones’ Neelan’s Flashback.

OB (6)

1 Smith & Moon’s Alncroft I Spy, lovely bitch, good head, eyes & ears, pleasing neck, shoulders & outline, carried well set tail correctly, neat hindquarters, good front, legs & feet, in good condition, moved correctly in all directions. I loved her! CC & BOB;

2 Bowden’s Pacolito Price To Pay at Chellowside, pleasing head, ncie neck, racy hindquarters, well bodied, good bone & ribs, good coat condition;

3 Newport’s Digaden Glamouruss.
