PARSON RUSSELL MIDLAND COUNTIES 15 Judge(s): STUART PLANE Parson Russell Terriers MPD (6,3a) 1 Maanmanion Doubleshot over Kylini, a tri marked headed dog, lovely size & shape, masculine without being too coarse, good eye & expression, true front with enough bone, spans easily with a loose pelt, well textured coat, moved freely & put in a good performance, impressed me enough to win the RCC; 2 Ardencote Tutor, a smooth t/w headed dog which is of pleasing type, well placed shoulders, good topline, spans easily, in fit hard condition, unfortunately unsettled on the move; 3 Digaden Top Hat And Tails. PD (4,1) 1 Ardencote Taber, a tan headed dog who is well constructed of good type & narrowness, spans well, I liked his tailset & strong quarters, lovely tight fitting coat; 2 Pacolito Special Edition, a broken coated dog with a balanced head, quite well constructed but appears up to size at the moment; 3 D Top Hat And Tails. JD (1) 1 Foxthorn Huron at Rascallion, a tri headed dog who is well constructed carrying enough body, spans easily, well set tail, lovely quarters, good coat texture. PGD (1) 1 Boultmoor Badge Of Honor, a tan headed dog who comes across as being a touch heavy all through, having said that he is well constructed with a good topline, good temperament & showed steadily. LD (3) 1 Sweetjumpers Gentle Twister, a tan mark headed dog which is balanced, good eye & expression, neat ear, true front, spans easily, lovely muscled quarters, good topline with a rise over the loin, well angulated quarters, impressed in the challenge but just a touch unsettled in front movement; 2 Pacolito Patchez Betwixt, an honest dog of good type who presents a pleasing picture & much to like him for, well textured coat, let himself down on the move as he was very unsettled; 3 Tubize Mr Wriggle at Ammanday. OD (8,1) A difficult class to separate, one exhibit I have previously judged & admired was not at all settled which was disappointing. 1 Ch Alncroft Blackthorn, t/w broken coated dog of very good type & size, lovely masculine head with good eye & expression, correct mouth, true in front, spans easily, sound on the move both coming & going. CC; 2 Ch Pacolito Highly Prized at Dragonmoor, a typy dog of good size & shape, true front & spans well, tight white coat, moved out well & provided good competition; 3 Hoolmark Sundance Kid. MPB (6) 1 Rountfelley Bealongs to Lacolito, very appealing youngster with a well marked tan head, good neck & shoulders, true front, presents a pleasing topline & was very positive on the move. BPB; 2 Ruby Red of Degla, very much built on the same lines as the winner, pleasing head & good front, touch unsettled in ear at the moment, lovely rib shape & topline, well set tail & giving a good outline; 3 Riplington Drea Image. PB (2) 1 Pacolito American Edition, an evenly marked tan headed bitch with a very nice outline, good bone for her size, narrow & easily spans, nicely angulated quarters; 2 Digaden Made To Measure, very pleasing to go over, slightly bigger than the winner. Her good construction was not reflected in her movement however. JB (3) 1 Pacolito Rumour Has It, won the RCC, great for type & size, lovely quality head, correct mouth, dark eye, good earset, well placed shoulders, enough rib, well set tail, broken coat of good texture; 2 Bradpole Beauty, smooth of good type & size, lovely head with a correct mouth, touch wider in front standing than I would like, good rib & topline, well set tail; 3 Alncroft In Tune at Rascallion. PGB (5,1) 1 Pacolito Mistress at Llyunamill, immaculately presented smooth with a balanced head, touch wider in skull than I would like, correct mouth, lovely topline, good rib & coupling, correctly placed shoulders; 2 Kylini Mona Lisa, tan headed broken coated bitch of good type, well coupled & good front, shows well but tended to lose her topline standing. LB (7,3) 1 Ardencote Triintimes, a happy typical smooth who has the loosest of pelts, lovely tight feet, well placed shoulders, great tailset, enough body for her size & very well muscled; 2 Digaden Taylor Made, touch larger than the winner but very well balanced all through, correct mouth, good rib & topline; 3 Coclestane Cinnamon. OB (10,1) 1 Ch Alncroft I Spy, a lovely bitch of great type, she has a very appealing head & eye, correct mouth, good rib & front construction, good bone & tight feet, well set tail, showed herself to advantage. CC, BOB; 2 Pacolito Phardante, pushed the winner hard & the same remark applies, not quite the finish of coat as the winner but a very nice bitch. In the challenge for RCC I just preferred her younger kennelmate; 3 Hermine Du Toucan D’arthur. STUART PLANE |
