PARSON RUSSELL JUDGE RICHMOND 15

Parson Russell Terriers

Thank you for your entries, it is 5 years since I last judged the breed & I am very happy to see such good breed type dogs & bitches, all mouths were good & I’m very happy to see the tail & tail set have improved greatly, I would like to thank both my stewards Margaret & Janice for their great work in keeping me in line, two lovely ladies.

VD

1 Hall’s Frithgarth Jack Frost, good headed dog, nice bone, moved OK, think he rather be in the house but nice to see the oldies.

PD

1 Baker’s Pacolito Special Edition, strong headed puppy, big teeth, straight front with good bone, coat in very good nick. My BP;

2 Smith’s Digaden Top Hat And Tails, smaller type than 1, similar remarks but 1 moved that much more positive, but on another day could go one better;

3 Tinegate’s Milvinae Impressario.

JD

1 Broadberry’s Foxthorn Huron at Ratscallion, wow when I saw this young dog he took my breath away, what a cracking dog, stunning head, good bone, straight front, good pelt, spanned easily, correct topline, strong backend, when he moved he moved with drive, & moved both ways with ease. Only just over 12 months I can see a very good future for him, one little thing I would like to see a few pound off him but for me the best dog on the day, easy decision to give him his first CC & BOB. After judging I was told last time I judged I gave his champion sire his first CC & BOB when he was only 10 months, very good luck with him;

2 Yerbury’s Beauforts Charles James, another nice dog, strong head, good underjaw, nice bone, coat in good order. Moved & handled well.

LD

1 Whiteley’s Sunrock And Russell Yards Made In America, I see he is an import. This was a difficult class to judge, very strong head on this dog with big strong teeth, dark eye, neat ears, shorter in back & a bit cobby, good bone, a bit wide in front, moved OK; 2 Harris’ Gonetoground Trick Or Treat, very similar remarks as one, stood on good bone. Moved OK;

3 Hall’s Frithgarth Magic Sandpiper.

OD

1 Price’s Rymshott Samo at Andralok, very nice strong head on this dog, big teeth, strong bite, very good front & bone, correct topline, in super jacket, correct length in back & correct topline, strong backend with enough bend of stifle, moved out well on the day, I thought the junior dog was more positive on the move both ways but well deserved the RCC;

2 Blair & Hadley’s Cleeve Hill Kasper, all white dog, very workmanlike, full of beans, liked this dog a lot but lost to 1 on movement on the day but sure you have a lot of fun with him;

3 Newport’s Sweetjumpers Gentle Twister.

VB

1 Newport’s Pacolito Xceptional, nearly 10 years old, just enjoying her day out, still looking good. BV, I would like to thank her very sporting owner for bringing her today.

PB

1 Baker’s Pacolito American Edition, t/w. A very nice puppy, very feminine good front, nice neat ears. Good bite. Lovely body for a 6 month old, & moved so well I loved her, will watch her progress with interest;

2 Collis’ Riplington Dream Image, liked this young lady to, similar remarks as 1, but 1 was that little stronger in jaw but a cracking bitch, another I will keep my eye on;

3 Newport’s Digaden Made To Measure.

JB

1 Price’s Andralok Faith, tan headed young lady, a very stylish bitch, strong head but feminine, good working type. Coat in A1 condition as always by this owner breeder, moved away well but a little wide in front but should improve, just loved her & she should do well in the future;

2 Broadberry’s Alncroft In Tune with Ratscallion, a bitch from a great kennel. Tri head. A little nervous on the table with all the noise about, but a cracking bitch who I think will go on to better things one to watch.

PGB

1 Tinegate’s Milvinae Whats The Storey, good head, strong bone with a good front, correct topline with good crisp jacket. Moved & handled well. LB 1 Tinegate’s Milvinae All Aboard, another very good bitch, good head but very feminine, nice length of neck with a correct topline leading to strong backend, moved well;

2 Nixon’s Gonetoground Go For Gold, thought this was going to be my winner, she is stunning bitch, good head type, she has everything going for her when standing, but for me she fell apart on the move, she looked a different bitch, I hope it was only on the day as I think she could go to the top easily;

3 Minnet’s Rountfelly Beajewelled.

OB

1 Smith & Moon’s Ch Alncroft I Spy, a stunning bitch, every inch a champion, she has it from head to tail, quality. Stunning head. Good length in body, great jacket, moved out so well going & coming, an honour for me to have such a bitch come under me. An easy CC, now when it came for BOB it was splitting hairs, I loved the bitch but I just loved the dog that little more for BOB;

2 Baker’s Ch Pacolito Phirstedition, another quality champion, in some ways similar but 1 was a little stronger in head & moved that little better on the day but another I would love to own. RCC;

3 Collis’ Ch Riplington Black Cherry.
