PARSON JACK RUSSELL SKC AUGUST 10 Judge(s) MRS L ROBERTS DCC HOOLMARK JOHNNY RINGO (MR M & MRS M HOOLEY) Parson Russell Terriers I was really pleased with the depth quality of exhibits shown. I was disappointed in the movement of some exhibits. Mouths & temperaments were good PD (3,1a) Both pups were unsettled by the windy conditions. 1 Johnson’s Garsayno Magic Man, nice coat, pleasing head & eye, spans well, nice size; 2 Leslie’s Glendream The Real Deal, good smooth coat, pleasing head. Very unsettled on the move. JD (3) 1 Hooley’s Hoolmark Johnny Ringo, very workmanlike racy type of dog, good pelt, excellent pigmentation, keen dark eye, neat ear, good reach of neck, good shoulder, straight narrow front, spans well, nice angulation, good topline, moves well when he puts his mind to it. CC & BOB; 2 Newport & Baker’s Ratscallion Tactical Play, racy dog in full coat, nice length of back. Not as good in topline & a little over angulated. Moved OK; 3 McTigue’s Windynook Magnum Force. PGD (2) 1 Liddell’s Alncroft Arctik, workmanlike dog who shows himself off to advantage, in excellent hard condition, nice head, dark eye, keen expression, good reach of neck, nice shoulder, spannable ribs, good length of back, nice angulation, moved well. RCC; 2 Steel’s Garsayno Yum Yum, similar type to 1, good pigmentation. Preferred the topline of 1. LD (4) 1 Bygate’s Windynook Init to Winit, won on soundness, in full coat, good head, nice front, good length of back, nicely angulated. Just felt he was carrying a little too much condition; 2 Swift & Parr’s Spellbert Captain Jack, very nice well presented dog, good head, neat front, spans well, good angulation. Movement let him down; 3 Sutton’s Pacolito Persona at Springbeck. OD (3,1) 1 Sollis’ Mister Bonamonty, workmanlike type, of a perfect size, looked good in profile, nice head, good reach of neck, well balanced body, good angles, nice coat. Movement was unsettled; 2 Baker’s Ch Giftrapped Of Lovealoch to Pacolito, different type to 1, nice head, good front, good length of back, well angulated, good coat. Movement let him down. PB (4,2) 1 Baker’s Pacolito Persistant, very nice quality pup, lovely head, dark eye, neat ears, good front, spans easily, nice length of back, very well presented. Just needs to settle on the move. BP; 2 Smith’s Bethane Liberton Lassie, pretty pup with very good pigmentation, nice front, moved OK. PGB (2) 1 Newport’s Pacolito Xceptional, racy bitch, nice size, spans easily, well balanced body, moved OK; 2 Dolman’s Pacolito Phirstpick to Maxtay, larger bitch with a neat ear & good coat, presented & handled well. LB (5) 1 Sutton’s Pacolito Maid A Phortune at Springbeck, correct sized, showy bitch, in full coat of the correct texture, pleasing head, dark eye, keen expression, neat ear, nice reach of neck, lovely front & feet, spans easily, nicely angulated, moved really well. CC, her third; 2 Doyle’s Ilexquercus Rosy Rustic, very similar to 1, very nicely presented & handled, moved OK; 3 Steel’s Garsayno The Dancer. OB (5) Really nice quality class. 1 Baker’s Pacolito Phlattery, workmanlike racy bitch, good ear & eye, nice front, spans well, good length of body, nicely angulated, in good coat, well presented & handled. RCC; 2 Swift & Parr’s Pacolito Picture Monkey, these 2 could swap places, well presented coat, pleasing head, nice reach of neck, nice front, spans well, good length of back, nicely angulated. Just felt 1 moved better; 3 Rimmer’s Kylini Mythnmyst. LESLEY ROBERTS |
