PARSON RUSSELL JUDGE THREE COUNTIES 22

PD (1)
1 Aspell & Dixon’s Scapegrace Echo. Scapegrace Echo, only 6 months old but so happy to be in the ring, loved his character, doesn’t need to grow much more, he has a super strong well shaped head, lovely eyes and good bite, as you would hope he is spannable with a good thick pelt, super jacket, well off for bone and a good make and shape, a little loose in front movement at the moment, but otherwise moves very well, showing no sign of tiredness throughout the challenges, shows much promise, good luck, BP and Res BD on coat and being more spannable.

VD (2)
1 Blair and Hadley’s Cleeve Hill Kasper (Imp Bel). Hard to believe he is 11 yrs old, having judged him in his younger days and given him a bob, he really hasn’t aged at all, still loves to show and moves round with style and smoothly. Perhaps not as spannable as he was, but had the edge on 2 on this and coat quality. Shows a more compact outline and everything he has is in moderation. His ice white coat really show off his lovely dark eyes and pigment, really wouldn’t look out of place in the limit/open Class, Best dog, Best Veteran, congrats

2 Smith’s Digaden Top Hat & Tails. Different type, longer and taller outline, didn’t feel he showed as confidently and with less fluidity on the move, not as spannable as he once was and not the coat of the winner. Still he has a good strong wedge shaped head, lovely eyes, neat ears with good set another lacking exaggeration correct bite, good neck, straight legs and keeps his topline when moving and stacked.

PB (2)

1 Bigland’s Heythrop Taranna. Found this young lady to be of good breed type, pretty head of good shape, strong muzzle, in harsher jacket and good enough pelt, better on the move and more of her all over, good straight front and good angles fore and aft, just lacked the sparkle of the dog for bp.

2 Johnston’s Foxfur Montyclair Smaller type, lacking undercoat on the day,s howy young lady, good bone for size, shorter tail, good angles fore and aft, shorter head and small ears, not as well pigmented. Flowed round the ring.

JB (1)

1 Smith’s Digaden Top Notch. Presents a neat outline, showy and confident on the move, possesses a good wedge head, neat ears, varminty expression, good bone and angles, better harsh jacket than most, good mover in all directions.

PGB (3)

1 Aspell & Dixon’s Scapegrace Buffy. The more confident of the two, lovely size, good harsh coat, spannable and well proportioned, carries tail alert on the move, small ears with a feminine head of good shape, good bite, med bone and good angles, dark eyes aid a lovely expression.

2 Bigland’s Heythrop Tangletop. Not so happy today and this affected her movement and showmanship, tail carried a little low, still she has a good outline and spannable, good harsh jacket, neat sized ears, strong but fem head, good almond shaped eyes.

OB (2)

1 Dayman, & Cole Ch Pacolito Phinal Edition. What a super young lady, who never stopped showing, she presents a super outline, everything she has is in moderation, nothing exaggerated, in fab jacket with good pelt good angles fore and after. Strong but fem head, could easily do a day’s work, not overly ribbed, easy to span, hard to fault her. Best Bitch and BOB, thrilled to see her shortlisted in the group, congrats

2 Bigland’s Heythrop Topsyturvey. Thought her head not so strong, and not the coat, narrower in body and has good breed type, moving out so well but leaning slightly coming towards me, easy to span with good bone, perhaps a bit longer cast and with good angles fore and aft.
