SCOTTISH BATH 09 Judge: Mrs P R Pagram
Scottish Terriers MPD (2) 1 Walker’s Beaureveur Kubera, just a baby, good head, coat coming through, compact & sturdy, moved with confidence. BP; 2 Marshall’s Benartybrae Bugatti, not so compact as 1 but a lot to like. PD (1) 1 Cole’s Rabbonai Playmaker, 11 months black, much too big, could be wider in front. Nice head & expression, good coat. PGD (4) 1 Boyce’s Trackside By The Loch, sturdy thick set brindle, nice head, neat ears, good front & body, strong quarters, moved out well. RCC; 2 Sherwood & Pearmain’s Ashkeltar Ewan Me at Delandmar, well presented brindle, good head, expression, neck & shoulders. Not the body of 1; 3 Chick’s Brueiks Magical Connection. LD (1) 1 Earl’s Turnaware Buccaneer, up to size, well presented brindle, showed to advantage. OD (3) 1 Maidment’s Berrybreeze Jubilation, black, great ring presence, shown in very tight trim which enhanced his correct construction & therefore movement. Showed with enthusiasm. CC; 2 Tuuliniemi’s Brueik Summa Creation, shown in very full coat, good head & showmanship. Not width or substance of 1; 3 Dobell’s Darling Charlie at Kelticbright. MPB (1) 1 Marshall’s Benartybrae Charleston, very raw brindle. Needs time. PB (1) 1 Thomas’ Trusty Tira to Indizak, black, needs to drop. Harsh coat but trimming needs attention. Showed well. JB (4,1a) 1 Plane’s Mayson Carnival at Stuane, beautifully presented top quality brindle, balanced head, lovely expression, correct front, short backed, tail on top, good spring of rib carried well back, moved with drive. CC & BOB: 2 Beckton’s Kentwella Karamel by Glengracie, wheaten, in good coat, nicely constructed all through. I would prefer a cleaner skull. Moved out well. RCC; 3 Hills’ Samstevever Hint Of A Tint. PGB (5,1) 1 Dobell’s Kelticbright Bluebelle, nice one to go over, not presented to advantage & needs to be handled to appreciate her qualities. Unfortunately spooked in a later class; 2 Marshall’s Jessica at Midnight with Benartybrae, nice head & expression. Lacking in bone. Good quarters & moved well; 3 Boyce’s Trackside Fairytale. LB (6,1) 1 Sherwood & Pearmain’s Ashkeltar Time N Tide at Delandmar, stylish black, in good coat, ultra low good head & expression, moved & showed well; 2 Chapman’s Berrybreeze Supertramp, close up to 1, very short of coat, moved & showed well; 3 Thomson’s Ashgate Royal Penny. OB (2) 1 K Bluebelle; 2 Smale’s Ericmar Midwinter, nice for size. Not the bone or quarters of 1, could carry more weight to advantage. PAMELA PAGRAM |
