SCOTTISH LEEDS 11 Judge: Mr Roger Thomas SCOTTISH JUDGE LEEDS 11 Scottish Terriers 1 Earl’s Rolanka Bucks Fizz, nice wheaten, good length of head & skull, well shaped expressive eye, strong in neck & body, plenty behind his well-set tail. Could be shorter coupled. Impressive on the move both ways. JD (0). PGD (3) 1 Pollock’s Millingford Winter Lion, pleased in head, strength & depth in foreface, neat ears, broad chest & level topline, plenty of bone, well set tail, good jacket, showed nice lines on the move; 2 Hill’s Polwicks Black Tourmaline of Tahgmor, did not help handler & was erratic on the move. Good head proportions & pleased in eye & ear, plenty of bone & substance, topline & set-on OK. LD (5) 1 Berrybreeze Dizzee Rascal, well made, right for size & showing nice lines in profile, looked the part & pleased in head, eye & expression, low to ground, level topline, strong loin & good set-on, moved out well both ways & pushed hard. RCC; 2 Eteo’s Glenmiar Whisky Mac at Jancliff, thick set, strong all through, plenty of bone, a good head. Not quite the outline of 1 in profile, moved out quite well once settled; 3 Hill’s Bonnieanne of Tahgmor. OD (4) 1 Tovey’s Trackside Flyingscotsman at Charmic, quality here & nice for size & type, a well proportioned head, strong jaw & correct bite, pleased in eye, ears & neck, well ribbed up, firm loin, level topline, good set-on, a cracking rearend, excellent drive on the move. CC; 2 Dixon’s Chatterdale Diablo, quality dog who likes advertising the fact, this does not detract in any way, scored in head, neck, body & jacket & shows balance all through, once settled moved out well both ways & must surely make up; 3 Goddard’s Emandem Black Pudding. Three nice puppies & a shame one had to retire after slightly injuring herself. 1 Beckton’s Glengracie Toffee Most Crisp, most attractive young lady, well put down & handled & appealed in head & eye, neat ears, straight front & well ribbed up, moved well both ways, holding a level topline. BP; 2 Barnett’s Barnwin Witches Brew, baby at her first show but handled the situation well, nice for size, well made & showing nice lines in profile, head, neck, topline & tailset were all plus points. Once settled moved out quite well. JB (3) 1 Young’s Stuane Floral Dance, brindle, nice size & shape, balanced head, straight well boned front, good jacket, is short with a level topline, drove well on the move from strong & well developed hindquarters; 2 Orr’s Blackthorpe Betty On The Box, not the ring presence of 1 & was somewhat erratic on the move, nicely proportioned head, strong jaw, neat ears, level topline & well carried tail; 3 Patchett’s Skircoat Stupenda. PGB (2) 1 Maidment’s Berrybreeze Explorer, nice for size & type, good depth of foreface, strong jaw, well placed & neat ears, pleased in neck & topline, well presented & moved out well both ways; 2 Gaff’s Terratom Flame, longer cast than 1 & erratic on the move, appealed in coat, straight front, level topline & good tailset. LB (2) 1 Kenny’s Millingford Royal Affair, plenty to like, good length of skull, strong jaw, neat ears, muscular neck & well balanced all through, strong hindquarters put to good effect on the move; 2 Shaw’s Terratom Latte, nicely turned out, well proportioned head, good bone & compact in body, steady mover. Not the outline & presence of 1. OB (5) 1 Plane’s Stuane Florette, quality, so well made, nice for size & shape, balanced all through, first class head, short in body, strong loin, shows such a pleasing outline in profile, so well handled, correct movement, coming & going. CC, BOB & G1; 2 Pagram’s Torcraig Black Pearl, quality lady, lovely head, well boned front, level topline & well carried & set tail, strong hindquarters gave plenty of drive on the move. RCC; 3 Kelly’s Glenboig Lady Gaga at Carseview. |
