SCOTTISH RICHMOND 09 Judge: Mrs Alison Smale SCOTTISH JUDGE RICHMOND 09 Scottish Terriers PD (1) 1 Bradley & Herd’s Brueik Magnum Opus, stunning black with lovely head & outline, good bone, short with very powerful quarters & good tailset, moved with drive, very well presented. BP, RBD. PGD (6) 1 Chick’s Brueik Magical Connection, very pleasing dog with good bone & plenty of substance, good head & shoulder, deep rib, lovely hard coat, powerful quarters & moved with drive; 2 Hill’s Bonnieanne Norman of Tahgmor, powerful dog with plenty of bone & substance, low to ground, moved & showed well; 3 Hardy’s Magandthan Waiting For You. OD (3) 1 B Magical Connection. BD; 2 Hill’s Black Tourmaline of Tahgmor, pleasing head, good bone & deep rib, moved quite well but lacked drive; 3 Dodson’s Polwicks Smokey Quartz. PB (3) 1 Bradley & Herd’s Brueik Ingeborg, beautiful head with pleasing neck running into short back with tail bang on top, deep ribs & showed with enthusiasm; 2 Milburn-Gates’ Liroda Earth Angel, very promising puppy with good head & ear placement, well bodied & good tailset. Not quite as short as 1; 3 Milburn-Gates’ Liroda Skye Dancer. PGB (3,1a) 1 Maidment’s Berrybreeze Enlightening, good head & front, deep rib, short & compact, lovely bitch. A little less weight would enhance the neckline. Well presented by her young handler; 2 Hardy’s Magandthan Winter Maiden, attractive head with good lay of shoulder, good bone. Little longer in the back. Showed well. OB (4,2) 1 Hills’ Turnaware Tanya, excellent head & neck running into deep short back & good tailset, strong powerful rear, moved with drive, well presented. BOB; 2 Hardy’s Long Awaited of Magandthan, a lot to like about this bitch, good head & shoulder, good bone, deep rib & well bodied, moved well. RBB. ALISON SMALE |
