SEALYHAM BATH 12 Judge: Mrs E P Hollings SEALYHAM JUDGE BATH 12 SEALYHAM TERRIER Beautifully showground with manicured rings, well done Bath, the weather only enhanced the overall picture. PGD (1) 1 Thomas's Cibach Connelly. 17 mth. Masculine chap. Good eye, dark well fitting and expressive with good pigmentation. Correct skull clean cheeks, has foreface and strong jaw. Proportions display correct height to length of body ratio with firm rump and correct set on. Moved with free action. Res BD. OD (1) 1 Wonnacott's Ch Whitepepper's Saturday Night Fever at Jacott This 2½ year old had the maturity and construction to take best dog. Could be stronger in underjaw. Well placed dark eye and correct ear in size and placement. Muscular long strong neck flowing through well placed shoulders and strong topline. Has forechest well sprung ribs leading well back to short powerful loin. Good width of rump and defined quarters with width of quarters. Has great coat, wiry with straight top coat and professional presentation. He is economical and ground covering in action , easy to see this contributes to him being a champion. Best dog. PB (2) 1 Noel-Hiles' Cibach Candyfloss 7mth siblings. Both are soundly constructed. 1st. Just that little more forward on the day . Pleasing head proportions with strength in foreface, clean cheeks and well set ears. Ribs lead well back coupled with strong loin to give decent back line. Positive foot fall going and coming. Certainly has potential with maturity. 2 Trezise-Dundas' Cibach Carys At Firstwish. Sweet feminine young lady. Sound and true in action. A little firmer in topline that sister but not quite the flowing lines or maturity in character. JB (2) 1 Wonnacott's Jacott Joy Bells. 18 mth, beautifully put down in super harsh straight coat with correct undercoat. Liked her head, has good eye, strong underjaw and muzzle. Flowing outline which is provided by decent construction. Strength behind, when concentrating shows positive movement. Her time will come. 2 Trezise-Dundas' Cibach Cheeky Chops At Firstwish. 16 mth, just a little soft in topline and rather left her coat at home. Just not as polished on the move as winner. Could show a different picture with maturity and finish. OB (5) 1 Lewis's Nomis Numero Uno (ai). Headed a quality class which was a pleasure to judge. Only 21 mths but has the muscular definition and body with maturity of character which makes her hard to overlook. Learned later that she has already two cc's, not surprised, a quality Sealyham. She can be cheeky on the move but hey, she's a terrier, this only adds to the appeal. Classic outline with tabletop back. Neat elbows and smooth fitting neck from correct shoulder placement. Has strong legs which are short but provide ground clearance. Ribs sprung and leading well back. Muscular loin and quarters which give power and drive. Best bitch and BOB. 2 Thomas's Cibach Cristal Clear. As I said, good class, so naturally this bitch gave satisfaction when going over her and therefore took res best bitch. Super proportions of head and body with correct balance. Has strength and femininity. Perhaps just not the footfall of winner in front today but a grand sort. Res Best Bitch. 3 Tobijanski's Zippor Break A Leg. Res Butcher's Ornella Tegwens Tango. Mrs E P Hollings |
