SEALYHAM BATH 21 Judge: Mrs J M Miller My first appointment with this breed and I was delighted with the entry and the quality. 1 Aubrey’s Ornella Silent Witness At Jenabeck. Stunning youngster just 1 yr old and really loving his day out. Very attractive well balanced and built with good strength and depth to his body. Presented a nice outline and so well presented in his well trimmed white hard wirey jacket with brown patch. Lovely to go over with masculine head, with slightly domed skull and good width between his ears set on well. Dark round eyes with kind look. Strong teeth and jaw, good eyebrows and beard coming. Good muscular neck of length for his age into a firm back over a well ribbed back body to tail well set on and carried erect. Correct angulation to a deep chest with width, short well boned legs, elbows close to his chest, well under himself. Powerful rear quarters with correct return of stifle and strong hocks. Lovely strong round foot which he used well on the move which had plenty of drive and was sound. 1 Forkes-Rees’ Pakynhyl Cliff. Impressive youngster on the stance, well presented in his which correctly textured hard jacket, correct undercoat, with brown patch. Lovely depth and substance to his well sprung ribed back short body. Masculine head with a slight dome and well set and placed medium ears, dark eyes with rims under good brows, would have liked little more length to his foreface although muzzle and jaw were strong with nice beard. Fairly strong long neck into level backline to well set on and used tail. Well angulated front with depth and width to chest and short well boned legs set in close. Powerful well angulated hindquarters, well let down hocks. Strong, powerful mover with good reach and drive. 1 James’ Nileda Mister Joe. 2 yr old presented well in a harsh white coat with nice presentation. I would have preferred a more masculine, stronger head, slight dome, medium length to ears, well set. Dark, expressive eyes with expression under good brows, jaw quite strong with enough beard. Fairly long, strong neck into well laid shoulder into short, compact, well ribbed back body with level back and high set on tail with a curl to carriage. Well angulated front, deep chest and short lightly boned legs and tight feet. Rear quarters strong and with good return of stifle and short hocks. Moved out reluctantly but did show dome drive and was sound. 1 Daly’s Thornberryhall Touch Of Class. Certainly well named young male, has that touch of quality, entered the ring with confidence and was well handled to get the best from him. Impressive on the stance with his hard wirey white well presented coat. Masculine head of good length and strength, nice dome to skull, well placed ears, dark round expressive eyes, lacking pigment to rims, showing expression under his well groomed brows. Strong muzzle and jaw with lovely beard. Head carried proudly on long strong neck set into well angulated shoulder and firm short back with well set on and carried tail. Correct depth and width to chest with short, strongly boned legs held in close to his chest with thick cat-like feet. Body well ribbed back and well sprung in his short compact body. Hindquarters well muscled and stifle well bent, short hocks. Very happy free mover with drive and was sound. RDCC. 1 Evans’ Nileda Our Mutual Friend. I judged this 4 yr old nearly 3 years ago as a baby puppy and he with his litter sister showed lots of promise. Today I was pleased to see him again. He has grown into a lovely compact, masculine dog with a lovely well presented head of correctly shaped dome, well placed and set ears, dark intelligent eyes with good pigment to rims and a cheeky look from under his brows. Has a long, strong muzzle with punishing jaw and a good length to his beard and a black nose. Head held well on strong, fairly long neck into well laid shoulders and a level backline over a compact body with ribs well sprung, just carrying a good weight, excellent rump and tail set and carriage. Beautiful presentation to his white jacket with correct wirey feel. Short, well boned forelegs held well and close into his chest, well turned stifle to hindquarters and cat-like feet. Very happy brisk free mover and sound with good drive with correct tail carriage. DCC, BOS. 2 Wonnacott’s Jacott Dancers Welsh Wizard ShCM. Slightly taller than my winner and a little bit up in the air, needing his skirt to be fuller and longer to fill the gap. Very impressive male with a good outline. Masculine head, well worked, clean in cheek, slight dome to skull with well set apart ears. Dark, alert eyes under good brows, well pigmented rims, nice expression. Strong punishing jaw and muzzle with lovely beard. Head held well on strong fairly long neck set well into laid back shoulders. Firm backline over compact, well sprung and ribbed back body with good depth and substance. Well angulated forechest with depth and width. Shortish, well boned legs positioned well into side of chest, having tight round feet. Presented in excellent harsh wirey textured white coat with blue patches to his head. Strong rump well set on and carried tail, free sound mover with good drive and ground coverage. 1 Downie’s Eleighwater Axel. Was my only but Best Special Beginner, so I was delighted to see him in the shortlist for Best Sp Beginner in Show and then to get placed fourth in the final. Masculine, well worked with nice dome and ear placement. Dark round well set eyes with good pigmented rims. Little cheeky, strong muzzle and jaw well coated. Head carried well on strong neck, firm short back with compact body and well sprung ribs. Would like more front angle and depth of chest. Well presented and coated with harsh white jacket. Strong well boned hindquarters with good rump and tail set well carried and used. Well boned short legs and round feet, moved out well with good action and sound both ways. 1 Oulton & Fouries’ Whooperhill So Charming. So well named, this quality puppy, with true showmanship and attitude, very pretty head of correct shape and strength, slightly domed skull, well set apart ears, dark well set and shaped round eyes, good length to muzzle and well coated with brows and beard. Fairly long, strong neck into well laid back shoulders, firm, medium length to back, good rump and high set tail, so well carried with happy wag. Good body with depth and width to chest, well sprung ribs, well back. Short well boned legs and tight round feet. Quarters well developed for age with good bend of stifle and short straight hocks. Very well presented wirey white jacket and little skirt, having blue markings to her head. Very stylish mover, brisk action with drive and sound both ways. BPB, BPIB. 1 Challenger’s Kenxtwen Enid For Rowanrae. Slightly smaller girl with a correct outline who stands well on short legs with enough bone with tight round feet. Smaller head shape, clean cheeks, slight dome with well set apart ears hung well, dark expressive eyes under good brows. Head held well on longish neck into a firm backline to correctly set on and carried tail. Body with enough weight with depth and width to chest, ribs sprung but could be further back giving a long loin. Strong quarters, well muscled, turned stifle and short hocks. Presented well in longish hard wirey coat, enough beard and brow. Unsettled at first but once into a stride was sound both ways. 1 Downie’s Ornella Coconut Ice. Very attractive smaller size with a nice outline, with such, beautiful presentation to her white wirey coat with nice undercoat. Smaller well worked head, clean cheeks, well set apart ears with nice hang, well set round eye. Good length to muzzle. Good neck to shoulder and firm level back, would like better rump and tail set, good sprung back ribs with short, strong loin, well angulated front with short, well boned forelegs held well in under shoulder and at chest, tight cat-like feet. Good depth and width to chest. Quarters strong with return of stifle and let down hocks. Another once she settled was sound with brisk action. 1 Banks’ Eleighwater Adelinda. This bitch looked long on the stance but once getting your hands on fits the standard well and is nice to go over. Feminine head with good strength and length, good dome with correctly placed ears, round dark eyes under nice brow. Clean in cheek, strong square jaw, well coated, black nose. Head carried nicely on longish thick neck to laid back shoulders, firm back, compact body with good rump, high set on tail carried well. Correctly angulated front with depth and width to chest, short well boned forelegs. Ribs well sprung back, short loin. Hindquarters strong with return of stifle and short straight hocks. Nicely presented wirey coat, nice skirt. Stylish sound mover. 2 Courtney-Warren & Krykunivsky’s Bullbrit Shdy Lady Of Nunneley. I did prefer the outline and balance but she was so out of coat you could see all. Very feminine head, well shaped and worked, good dome, well carried and set ears, eyes round and expressive. Jaw and muzzle with strength. Good neck shape into well laid shoulders with firm backline, not the rump of my winner. Tail held well. Correctly angulated front, good depth and width to chest, short, strong forelegs, elbows in at side under shoulder. Good body with substance and ribs well sprung back. Hindquarters powerful and deep with return of stifle and short hocks. Once she settled into a stride moved out ok. 1 Waddell & Daly’s Fennekin Dancin Queen At Thornberryhall CNAF. Very attractive and certainly feminine. Beautiful head shape, good width between her ears, slight dome, round, alert dark eyes. Good neck to laid shoulders into a short level backline over a compact body with ribs well back with short strong loin. Correct shape to rump and well set on tail carried well. Lovely angulation front and rear with strength and depth to chest and muscular hindquarters with let down hocks. Beautiful all white coated, presented so well making a super outline and balance on the stance. Moved out on short strongly boned legs and cat-like feet, being sound coming and going with good driving side stride. Should have a bright future. RBCC. Lovely class of bitch all I have admired in the past. 1 Wonnacott’s Jacott Sunshine. Stood out for me today and I was so delighted to learn on giving her the BCC that she had gained her title. Lovely size and shape with that balanced outline in a small body, very sturdily built. Having a lovely temperament who worked well with her handler. Good on the stance, lovely to go over and being a free, very sound mover with good brisk action with a powerful drive. Very feminine head, well shaped and worked, dark eyes with nice pigmentation, strong jaw and muzzle, all well coated and presented. Great body with substance and correctly ribbed, beautifully presented in white wirey coat with nice skirt. Brown patches to her well hung and used ears. Lovely front and rear angulation, short well boned legs and tight feet. BCC, BOB. Lovely to see her shortlisted into the last eight in a large Terrier Group. 2 Tobijanski’s Zippor Grumpy Jones. So well handled to get the best from her, but today was not putting all into her movement and her rear skirt presentation made her look very wide behind, something I had not seen before. Lovely overall shape and balance with a compact body with substance and depth, well ribbed back, just a fraction long in loin. Firm level back, nice rump, well set on and held tail. Beautiful, feminine head, well shaped and coated, having a lovely carriage on a good length of neck. Other than her trousers, was so beautifully presented with a very white wirey thick coat with badger marks. 3 Evans’ Ch Nileda Great Expectations ShCM. |
