SEALYHAM BIRMINGHAM NATIONAL 24 Judge: Miss A BRADLEY SEALYHAM JUDGE BIRMINGHAM NATIONAL 24 PD (2,1) 1 Bettis’ Ornella King Midas. RDCC & BP. 1 Hemstock’s Jolihem Mad Eye Moody. 2 Howle’s Dinglebrooke I Can. 1. Bell’s Ch. Zippor Sleepy Sapphireson at Letara. Up to size, white with brown markings, good length of head, slight dome, well carried ears, dark well set oval eyes, has good strength of jaw, moderate length of neck to ample length of body, deep chest, good ribbing, good set on, movement could be a little more positive going away and towards but presents a good profile on the go round. 2. James’ Nailed Mister Joe. Nice size, balanced head, well placed and carried ears, dark eye, fair length of neck, moderate length of body, deep chest, tail carriage detracted from top-line, covered the ground well on the move. 1. Evans’ Ch. Nileda Our Mutual Friend. This 7 year old took my eye on entering the ring moving effortlessly round the ring and did not disappoint on the table, typical head, well proportioned in length, clean cheeks, slight dome to skull, decent width between ears, eyes dark, oval and well placed, has punishing strong square jaw, correct muscular neck leading to well laid shoulders, forelegs strong and straight, elbows close to well let down chest, ideal body length, good spring of rib, deep thighs, muscular quarters, well bent stifle, strong hocks, excellent tail set, presented in hard wiry top coat, movement free and accurate, DCC & BV, later learnt that I had awarded him a RDCC in his younger days. 1. Williams’ Zippor Pumpkin Princess. Promising, 6 months, coping well in the noisy hall, nicely proportioned head, dark well placed eyes, ears well set and carried, body developing, showing nice bone, legs and feet. 1. Bell’s Whooperhill Serendipity for Letara. Quality 10 months, typical head, slight dome to skull, nice width between well placed and carried ears, dark oval eyes, slight stop, has good strength of muzzle, neck of fair length to well laid shoulders, has excellent body for age with good depth of chest, confident show girl moving freely both ways, BPB. 2. Merson’s Magembay Monnet. Same age as above, not so forward, needing a little more substance at present, has balanced head, dark eyes, well placed ears, moderate length of neck and body, top-line needing to firm up but moved very well in both directions. 1. Hemstock’s Jolihem Loony Luna. Has nicely proportioned head, well set ears of nice size, pleasing dark eyes, neck and body, medium in length, good spring of rib, tail set a little low, moved well both ways. 1. Curtis’ Kenaiteen Cascade. Good honest type, balanced head, moderate length of neck to medium length of body with enough depth, well set tail, little out of coat today. 2. Moakes’ Whooperhilll Sleepinbeauty of Jomoaka. Liked this bitch but not happy in the noisy hall, I thought most attractive with nice markings, pleasing head, correct eye and ears, overall well put together. 1. McNeillis’ Ch. Magembay Merrydah. Presents a balanced picture and outline, overall could possibly have a little more substance but has a lot going for her, nicely proportioned head, excellent ears, dark eyes, forelegs straight, has enough depth, neck flows to well laid shoulders, top-line level with good set on, movement free and accurate, nicely presented, BCC & BOB. 2. Hampson’s Saore On A Sunrise High (imp ITA). Very good for type, pleasing head, slight dome, correct width between ears, well placed, has moderate length of neck and body, chest well let down, just lost a little in top-line, has good tail set, rear movement has good drive, could be a litter neater in front, RBCC. 3. Bettis’ Ch. Nunneley Hopscotch over Ornella.
