SEALYHAM JUDGE BIRMINGHAM NATIONAL 25

Thank you to the officers and committee for the invitation to award CC’s at this show. Thanks also to both stewards on the day
for their excellent work and for keeping the ring moving.
I enjoyed the appointment, aside from the quality of the exhibits, with such promising youngsters and also top end quality, it was also most noticeable the sportsmanship of exhibitors here and the way decisions were received and congratulations given
between everyone.

1st: PAWSON’S Afterglow's Golden Ticket (import Usa)
A male that scores well in head proportions. Broad skull and well placed ears, good depth of chest and well placed shoulder.
Level topline. Would prefer more in his rear, enabling better drive.

Class 890 MPD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: BETTIS’ Whooperhill Sand Dollar With Ornella
Quality throughout, excellent head, with slight dome and width. Strong muzzle and excellent bite. Good ears which are well
placed. He has good substance for one so young. Good neck and well placed shoulder, good depth of chest, super front. He
covers the ground well. One to watch and edged out on this occasion in the next class by another quality youngster but on
another day could easily have considered for a green card.

2nd: CRANG’S Whooperhill Sand Castle
Pleasing head and making the most of himself on the move. Good neck and shoulder, tail set ok. In good coat. Would prefer a
stronger topline and more angulation / muscle in his rear but there is plenty of time to develop on his side.

Class 891 PD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: WADDELL, DALY & CROCKETT’S Thornberryhall U Can't Touch This
Top drawer youngster, excellent bite, good muzzle and broad skull, ears well placed. Super front assembly, straight front,
excellent substance. Good depth of chest, good neck into well placed shoulder and level topline. Tail well set and plenty of
muscle in his rear, enabling super drive. He has good angulation which facilitates an effortless action and his drive, clean action when viewed either way. A tough class, both quality with many virtues. I felt 1st held his outline better on the move, maintaining his level topline but both youngsters have plenty of developing and time ahead. BPD

the expense of substance and purpose. Excellent head, well placed ears and carried close to cheek. Excellent bite. Super
straight front, good depth of chest. Quality neck and well placed shoudler, good thickness into level topline. Excellent coat
texture and condition. Tail of good length and in balance, which she holds well on the move. Fantastic drive from her rear, good muscle and thigh, well angulated and good hocks. Moving out is free and effortless, in profile she holds herself well and from the rear especially there is a clean action. I felt there was a number of quality youngsters entered on the day and I will watch with interest as they progress. RCC & BPIB
