SEALYHAM CITY OF BIRMINGHAM 24 Judge: Mrs S Connell SEALYHAM JUDGE CITY OF BIRMINGHAM 24 SBD (1) 1 Khrenov & Khrenov, Lord Of The Rings Of Taita’s Ushabti At Gelodnea – Good ratio of muzzle to skull with correctly placed ears. Shoulders set well back and well boned fore legs onto good feet. Good spring of rib and well-developed quarters. Presented in decent order and would benefit from more ring training. VD (1) 1 Bettis & Bettis, Ch Ornella Country Living Sh.CM ShCEx – Eight years old in super condition and was sound both fore and aft. Good head pattern with a strong foreface and a typical expression. Good forehand and spring of rib. Lovely hammy quarters and a good tail set. PD (1) 1 Lee, Rainesgift West Of The Moon At Firenzlee - Seven month old puppy who is in between stages of development being a tad soft in top line. A touch heavy in skull with correctly placed ears. Decent front assembly and good spring of rib. Moved soundly both fore and aft BPIB JD (2) 1 Bettis & Bettis, Ornella King Midas JW – Good head and expression, enough neck into shoulders that are set a tad forward. Level top line and a good tail set. Well-developed quarters and moved soundly both out and back. 2 Khrenov & Khrenov Lord Of The Rings Of Taita’s Ushabti At Gelodnea – PGD (2) 1 Howle, Dinglebrooke I Can – A nice type who is a good size, has plenty of bone and substance and carries a well textured jacket and furnishings. Typical head and expression, good length of neck into a correctly angulated forehand. Level topline and correctly angulated quarters. He was presented in super condition and moved true both ways. RBD. 2 Crang & Crang, Lushell Gwyn Cariad – A bigger type who was a lot heavier all through. His coat was of a good texture and he moved soundly both ways. OD (2) 1 Bell, Ch Zippor Sleepy Sapphireson At Letara – I have admired this dog from the ringside and was pleased to have had the opportunity to judge him today. I can now confirm my opinion of him as he is a lovely type who has super bone and substance with a correctly textured jacket and furnishings. His head is typical as it is slightly domed with a proportionate foreface of immense strength. His eyes and ears are of the correct size and shape culminating in a typical expression. He has a strong elegant neck into a super front assembly and his forelegs are straight and well boned. Level topline, great spring of rib and short coupled. His quarter angles mirror his front assembly and are well conditioned for muscle tone. He moved soundly both fore and aft with super reach and drive when viewed from side profile. BD & BOB. 2 James, Nileda Mister Joe: A smaller type who has a decent head and expression. Level top line and presented in good condition. Moved true in front. PB (1) 1 Lee, Whooperhill King’s Choice At Firenzlee – Good bone and substance, correct in eye and ear placement. She is slack in her topline and her jacket is too soft and fluffy. JB (1) 1 Bell, Whooperhill Serendipity For Letara – Slight dome to skull but needs more length for balance. Level topline and decent forehand with well boned fore legs. Presented in decent order and moved ok going away. RBB OB (2,1) 1 Bettis & Bettis, Ch Nunneley Hopscotch Over Ornella JW A top sized bitch who is correctly constructed and balanced. She was presented in super condition with a correctly textured jacket. Her head and expression are typical and she has a well-constructed fore hand, super spring of ribs extending well back to a short loin, level top line and nicely angulated quarters. Moved true out and back and covered the ground with good reach and drive. BB Sonia Connell |
