SEALYHAM CRUFTS 24 Judge: Mrs L A Matthews An honour to be judging at Crufts, and I thoroughly enjoyed my day. Thanks to my exhibitors giving me a super entry to go over, quality in abundance, presentation improving massively, thanks also to my two Lady Stewards 1 Evans Ch Nileda Our Mutual Friend 7 years with balanced head, strong neck, well let down, plenty of bone, nice type, well presented 1 BP and Res DCC, Bettis Ornella King Midas. 9 months, black badger marked head, correct dentition, good ear placement and expression, plenty of substance for a youngster. Moved with drive, keeping level topline, well presented, in good coat and condition 2 Roberts’ Ladeler Bran Beli. 9 months, lighter in bone than 1, pleasing head, nice type, should mature nicely, moved well. 3 Bentham Ladeler Dilwyn Garth Little brother of 2nd, tan badger marking, nicely put together, well presented, a little erratic on the move. 1 Oulton And Holderness-Rumsey Ch Whooperhill Sandman NL JCH. Very smart tan badger marked head of good proportion, correct dentition, super expression, a muscular strong dog, carries himself well, moves with drive, well handled and presented 2 Howle Dinglebrook 1 Can 18 months, pleasing head, compact, lighter in bone, good rear angulation, not moving to full potential today 1 Hemstock Jolihem Mad Eye Moody 13 Months, Black Badger marked head, correct dentition and proportion, nice dark eye, strong neck, well let down, muscular, low to ground but not cobby, moved with drive keeping topline, one to watch when matured. 2 Crang Lushel Gwyn Cariad. Pleasing head, correct dentition, strong old fashioned type, out for a fun day, unsettled on the move. 1 Challenger Rowanrae Dream Come True Tan Badger marked head of good proportion, super expression, deep chest, tight elbows, well let down, in good coat and well presented, correct rear angulation to enable movement with drive. Kept top line, but a little unsettled on the move. 2 Curtis Jolihem Lene Joe Badger Black Badger marked, pleasing expression, deep body, well let down, lighter in type, moved well, at one with his handler 1 CC and B.O.B. Winowitz Multi Ch Forlegd Onward Tai Lung JWW-21 JEW-21 Black badger marked head of distinction, super neck leading into good lay of shoulder. Straight front – tight elbows, well let down, good spring of rib, correct rear angulation, beautifully presented and in superb muscle condition, moved with drive, the perfect showman, a credit to the breed. 2 Niverborn Int/Se/Dk/No/Nordic Ch Silvery – Moon’s Good Night Ladies Tan Badger marked head of quality, super expression, low to ground, plenty of bone and in fit condition, good coat and presentation, moved with drive and purpose. 1 Curtis Jolihem Lene Joe Badger Going for gold award, good citizen next VB (2) 1 and BV Evans Ch Nileda Great Expectations Sh CM. Black badger marked feminine head, old fashioned type, low to ground, in good coat with plenty of furnishings, moved well, covered the ground at 9 years old, quite the show off. 2 Trezise -Dundas Cibach Carys At Firstwish 12.5 years old all white, very sweet Lady in good coat and condition, another old fashioned type, sound and moved well. 1 Merson Magembay Monnet Tan Badger marked, well proportioned feminine head, correct dentition, nice dark eye, good expression, nicely put together, harsh coat well presented and handled, kept topline on the move. 2 Oulton & Fuhrie Whooperhill Song Eye catching Black Badger marked head, correct dentition, good expression, another nicely put together girl in good coat, kept topline on the move, moved well but not as confidently as 1st. 1 Moakes Whooperhill Sleepin Beauty Of Jomoaka Tan Badger marked head, dark eye, good ear placement, and lovely expression, strong neck leading into well placed shoulder, well let down in good coat, kept topline, moved well fore and aft. 3 Parker Dinglebrooke Heart And Soul 1 Hemstock Jolihem Loony Luna All white lovely head of good proportion, very feminine, in good body condition, harsh coat, well angled rear end and moved with drive, kept level topline, nice type, covered the ground. 2 Rumney & Dooley Rowanrae Dream Weaver Feminine head, correct dentition, dark eye and good ear placement, fine expression, strong neck leading into good shoulders, straight front, tight elbows, in good coat, nicely presented. 3 Challenger Rowanrae Like A Dream Tan Badger marked head, correct dentition, dark eye, good ear placement, nice expression, strong neck, good front, plenty of body, kept top line but unsettled on the move. 1 Smith’s Grevenia Higwen Amber Queen Tan Badger marked feminine head, used her ears for good expression, swan neck leading into well placed shoulders, plenty of body, a nice type, well turned out and handled. Moved with drive. 2 Curtis Kenaiteen Cascade All white, correct mouth, strong head and neck, good length of body, well sprung ribs, moved well. 3 Trezise-Dundas White – smaller in stature, but good length of body, moved at one with her handler 1 BCC and Res BOB, 1 Oulton & Fuhrie Ch/Multi Ch/Int Ch Whooperhill So Charming Stunning Black Badger marked head of correct proportion, certainly used her ears for expression, muscular neck leading into well laid shoulders, tight elbows, strong short and straight forelegs, well let down, powerfull hindquarters enabling her to move with purpose, level topline, well presented and handled. 2 Sacco Allevamento Saore Itch Saore One Step Beyond Feminine head of good proportion, strong neck leading into well laid shoulder, straight front, chest well let down, using her hindquarters to move with drive. All white coat beautifully presented as always from this kennel. 3 Shumann Bussy Buddy Loretta Lunatic Strong head but feminine, well placed shoulder and straight front, low to ground, kept topline and moved with purpose, in fit condition and good coat. 1 Westbrook Magembay Mulan Nice type, moved well, at one with her handler, confident and ready to take on the next part of the Good Citizen Scheme. |
