MPD (2, 1)

1 Allison’s Nunneley Hide And Seek. Pleasing head with a good eye and correct ears. Nicely off for bone, although I would have preferred him just a shade more compact. Nice flow of neck into his topline and a nicely angulated rear. Presented in a good jacket, he moved well behind but would benefit from more ring training.

PGD (4)

1 Lee’s Ornella Chocolate Orange. A typey dog with a good head and expression. Lovely flow of neck into a good topline and he pleased for body, bone, angulation and quarters. Presented in a good jacket, I would have preferred a more correct tail.

2 Devonshire’s Jolihem Lene Joe Badger. A stylish dog making a typey outline. Not quite the head of first but good for bone and presented in a good jacket. Not quite the rear angulation of first.

3 Forkes-Rees’ Pakynhyl Treak Cliff.

OD (3, 1)

1 Evans’ Nileda Our Mutual Friend. A quality dog with a good head and expression. Lovely flow of neck into a good topline, with a correct set-on. Well ribbed body with very well developed quarters and pleasing rear angulation. I had difficulty in separating these two and opted for the better mover, particularly coming towards me. CC & BOB.

2 Bell’s Ch Zippor Sleepy Sapphireson At Letara. One that I have previously liked very much and whilst he makes an absolute picture standing and is slightly more compact than first, not in such hard condition. The out and back movement that so impressed me previously was not on display today, although he continues to be an impressive profile mover. RCC.

MPB (1)

1 Bettis & Bettis’ Nunneley Hopscotch Over Ornella. A promising baby, making a good, typey outline. Pleasing head and expression and nicely balanced in body and bone. Presented in a good jacket, she has nicely muscled quarters and well let down hocks and moved and showed well. BP.

PB (1)

1 Bettis & Bettis’ Nunneley Hopscotch Over Ornella. Repeat.

JB (2)

1 Oulton & Fourie’s Whooperhill So Charming. Good for type, with an acceptable head and presented in good hard condition. lovely well ribbed and nicely coupled body. Pleasing.

2 Bettis & Bettis’ Magembay Fairy Tale For Ornella. Another good for type and perhaps a better head than first. Although not quite the coat of one, she pleased pretty much all through but paid the price of playing her handler up on the move throughout.

PGB (4, 2)

1 Devonshire’s Kenaiteen Cascade. Not quite the jacket of second, but I pretty much liked the rest of her. Good head and eye, lovely body and bone, pleasing neckline and topline, pleasing rear angulation and with well developed quarters, she moved soundly.

2 Parker’s Whitecapisla Tiffintime. Not quite the head of first but with a good eye and neat ears. She pleased for body and bone but I would have preferred a firmer topline. Presented in good coat and with plenty behind her tail, she didn’t quite match 1 in movement, particularly coming towards me.

LB (1)

1 Courtenay-Warren & Krykunivsky’s Bullbrit Shady Lady Of Nunneley. A typey bitch that was pleasing to go over. Balanced head, with a good eye, she pleased for body, bone, topline and quarters. Presented in a good jacket, she moved well when settled.

OB (3, 1)

1 Tobijanski’s Zippor Grumpy Jones. A nicely balanced bitch in a jacket of good texture, good for type, with a good head and particularly strong muzzle. Nice dark eye, with neat ears. Good for bone and with a well ribbed body and nice firm topline. With pleasing rear angulation, well developed quarters and well let down hocks, she moved soundly.

2 Oulton & Fourie’s Am Grand Ch Am Ch Whooperhill American Celebration. My notes on this one begin, “A youngster giving a lot away in maturity” and at 14 months, I wondered why she was in this class. Now that I she holds her American Grand Title, I understand. A typey, pretty headed bitch with a pleasing expression but not the strength of muzzle of first. Nicely balanced in body and bone with plenty behind her tail. Not quite the rear angulation of first and whilst she moved well going away, I would have preferred her more precise coming towards me.

VB (1)

1 Evans’ Ch Nileda Great Expectations ShCM. A quality bitch, presented in superb condition and I wasn’t surprised to see that she is royally-bred. Pleasing head, although if ultra-picky, she might have benefitted from a slightly stronger muzzle. Good for bone, with a well ribbed, well coupled body and a lovely flow of neck into a good topline, with a correct set on. Nicely angulated, with well muscled quarters and an acceptable jacket. She moved soundly, when viewed from all angles. I liked her a lot. RCC & BV.
