SEALYHAM JUDGE NAT DOG SHOW 09

Sealyham Terriers

It was an honour to judge at this special anniversary show. How can this breed follow a BIS win Crufts – easy – just continue to breed the sound, basically fault-free good moving animals which I judged today, meaning all the dogs shown here were structurally sound. We only need to encourage younger people to continue & become more involved. The stock is here, of all the breeds which I see & judge in the terrier group – although numerically small – this breed is in excellent shape. There are not many breeds you can say that about. Congratulations must go to you all, the custodians of the breed for keeping good sound stud dogs breeding to the best bitches which you have kept.

PGD (2)

1 Jones’ Zippor White Rum, correct make & shape, good head & expression, level topline, good set-on, very sound mover, good coat & body weight;

2 James’ Nileda Vanguard, sound moving. Slightly longer cast than 1 & not the topline when moving, otherwise a useful dog.
