SEALYHAM NATIONAL TERRIER 14 Judge(s): ROSSLYN DOOLEY (DURSEGG) Sealyham Terriers I would like to thank the committee for its kind invitation to judge at this excellent show, as always it was very well organised & friendly. Thanks also to the ring stewards. Many thanks to the exhibitors who entered their lovely dogs, quality was good & I am pleased to see that the breed is still in good hands. MPD (2) 1 Ensell’s Blomendal Catch Me If You Can, 8 months, mature for age & up to size, good head with attractive markings, correct mouth, nice expression, strong neck leading to correct shoulders, plenty of rib & good width to chest. Nice length of back & well developed rear, topline good. Harsh coat well presented & looked good in profile. Moved with drive. BP; 2 Evans’ Blomendal Jack Daniels at Nileda, litter brother to 1, slightly smaller but all in proportion, correct mouth, good head with markings, correct shoulders, ample rib & width to front, topline & tailset good, strong rear, moved well. Harsh coat, well presented. PD, JD, PGD & LD (0). OD (4,1a) 1 Bettis’ Ch Polrose Parker Plus Ornella, looked good in profile, head of good proportions, correct mouth, nice expression, used ears well, strong neck & good shoulder placement. Plenty of rib & width to front, in top condition with level topline, strong rear, moved with drive. Coat harsh & well presented. Showed well. CC; 2 Bledge & Hawks’ Ch/Am Ch Blomendal’s Born In The USA at Thunder Road, attractive dog with correct head, mouth & ear placement, sturdy neck leading to good shoulders, plenty of rib, good width to chest, level topline, well developed rear. Preferred movement of 1. Harsh coat, presented well. RCC; 3 Wonnacott’s Ch Whitepeppers Saturday Night Fever at Jacott. MPB (3,1) 1 Bledge’s Blomendal Thunder Road Kiss, 8 months, sister to the boys & of the same quality. Nice size & shape, correct head, mouth & ears. Sturdy neck & good shoulders, level topline, plenty of rib & good width to front. In good condition with harsh coat, moved with drive, showed well; 2 James’ Blomendal Cookies N Cream, again litter sister, smaller in size, well constructed, good head & mouth, used ears well, good neck, shoulders & front, well ribbed & level topline, movement good, well presented in good coat. PB (4,2) 1 Bettis’ Cibach Cachet for Ornella, liked her size & shape, good head, mouth & ear placement, correct shoulders, ample rib, good front, level topline, good tailset, strong rear, harsh coat, well presented. Moved with drive; 2 Banks’ Amberwheat’s Hope N Smile with Willowaire, all white, feminine head, slightly longer in neck, good shoulders & front, nicely ribbed, level topline. Preferred movement of 1. Well presented. JB (3,1) 1 Hetherington & Good’s Goodspice Efbe’s Know Easy Way Out, lovely shape & size, attractive markings on head, correct mouth, used ears well, good neck, shoulders correct, plenty of rib & good front, level topline & good tailset, strong rear, in top condition, harsh coat, showed herself to her best. Moved with drive & purpose. CC & BOB; 2 Sands’ Seasmolt French Connection with Krakenexis, all white with pleasing head & expression, correct mouth & ear placement, neck a little short. Shoulders & topline good, nice width to front. Presented well, moved well. LB (3,2) 1 Newbury’s Eleighwater Araminta, all white, feminine head, correct mouth, good ears, neck & shoulders, well off for rib & width to front. Level topline & well developed rear. Looked good in profile, in good coat, presented well. Moved with drive. OB (4,1) 1 Wonnacott’s Jacott Joy Bells, liked her overall size & shape. Correct head, lovely expression, used her ears well, sturdy neck & correct shoulders. Well ribbed, good front, level topline, tailset good & strong rear. Harsh coat, presented well. Moved with purpose & drive, showed well. RCC; 2 Evans’ Ch Zippor A Tail Of Two Sisters at Nileda, all white with feminine head, nice expression, correct mouth, nice neck, shoulders & rib good, level topline & good tailset, strong rear, moved with drive, harsh coat, presented well; 3 Tobijanski’s Zippor Break A Leg.
