SEALYHAM JUDGE RICHMOND 11

Sealyham Terriers

Not a big entry but I was happy to judge one of my favourite breeds. Delighted to see the low set tails were not as prevalent as when I judged Sealyhams last time.

VD, PD, JD & PGD (0).

LD (1)

1 Tobijanski’s Zippor I Will Remember You, masculine, strongly made dog, very good body, coat & rear. Head could have a little more quality, also front & shoulders. Moved well & handled to advantage.

OD (4)

1 Scott’s Dan/Int Ch Whitepepper’s Othello, masculine all quality dog, in immaculate condition, masculine head, really good neck & shoulders, excellent body & topline, good tail & rear. Propelled himself round the ring with ease. CC & BOB;

2 Daly’s Ir Ch Cibach Celtic Connection, smaller dog & finer in bone & body. Pleasing head, good topline, OK behind, moved well. RCC;

3 Wonnacott’s Ch Saturday Night Fever at Jacott.

VB (1)

1 Jones’ Tommarv Sacarlet Ribbons, good bodied bitch of correct size. Front & shoulders not so pleasing. Harsh coat, happy temperament, good bone.

PB (3)

1 Tobijanski’s Zippor Break A Leg, very correctly made puppy of correct Sealyham type. Excellent overall proportions, really good body & extra good rear, harsh coat in good order. Perhaps a little short in neck. Easy mover, handled to advantage. CC;

2 Johnson’s Cibach Certain Smile at Kyntilly, very typical puppy, pleasing head, good front & body, ultra hard coat. Flattens out a little on the move. Liked a her a lot;

3 Wonnacott’s Jacott Joy Bells.

JB (1)

1 Lewis’ Nomis Numero Uno, ultra feminine of lovely type, pleasing head, good eye, level back, sound mover, good coat. Just needs more substance & could do with more bone. RCC.

PGB (0).

LB (4)

1 Butcher’s Ornella Tegwens Tango, feminine, good type, very good head & expression, excellent topline, coat & overall balance. Would prefer more bone & more fluid hind movement;

2 Wonnacott’s Jacott Moonlight Serenade, strongly made bitch, good body properties, level back, sound rear. Front not her fortune & head could be more feminine. Good strong rear, moves OK;

3 Jones’ Tommarv Ruby Sunday.

OB (1)

1 Lewis’ Ornella Mini Neon Now Nomis, excellent type & size, very good coat & condition. Front needs to improve & I would have liked more bone & substance. Showed well, goes well behind.
