SEALYHAM JUDGE RICHMOND 12

Sealyham Terriers

PD (1)

1 Bettis’ Ornella Okay Yaa, still very much a baby, & handled with care, good for size, low to ground, super neck & shoulders, kept his topline, moving soundly on good legs & feet, signs of a good jacket coming. Slightly overawed today.

JD (1)

1 Bettis’ Polrose Parker Plus Ornella, 13 months lad who is up for being active & game characteristics of a true Sealyham! Displays a lovely outline, well balanced masculine head of good length with good strength of muzzle, good bite, super neck & shoulder placement, level topline, ribs well sprung, still time to drop in body improving him further, strong hocks which gives him his driving powerful movement, super texture to coat, of optimum length, so well groomed & handled sympathetically to contain but not stifle his young exuberance. CC & BOB.

PGD (0).

LD (1)

1 Scott’s Saore Little Cream Soda, handsome chap with good head, but not quite the strength of muzzle of the JD winner, good bite, kind eye with dark pigmented rims, good neck & shoulders, deep well rounded ribs, level topline, super rearquarters really showing his pads on moving away, anyone in doubt of correct movement would do well to watch him. Beautiful coat. Substance in a small package. RCC.

OD (2)

1 Wonnacott’s Ch WhitePepper’s Saturday Night Fever at Jacott, chose 1 on his balanced outline, could be more masculine, a stronger muzzle would alter his head proportions to an advantage, deep chest with good ribbing, strong & lithe in body, coat of good texture, but a little short, moving well with free striding legs. Made the challenge interesting for me!

2 Tobijanski’s Zippor I Will Remember You, smart chap with the balance of head properties that I like, good for size, slightly over long in loin spoiling the overall picture, lovely texture to coat, beautifully presented & handled competently.

PB (3)

1 Wannacott’s Jacott Jubilee Queen, easy winner, balanced p for size & shape, lovely domed skull, good width between neat ears, good bite, lovely feminine expression, good neck, excellent in topline, correct fore & rearquarters, showing in her sound movement, lovely coat, well presented. One to watch! BP;

2 Trezise-Dundas’s Cibach Carys at Firstwish, 7 months raw baby, nicely balanced of good size & length of body, attractive head, I love her tan marks, good texture to coat just coming, moved well in parts just needs more confidence. Sympathetically handled;

3 Jones’ Jacott Joyful Dream.

JD (1)

1 Scott’s Polrose Pritty Pru, attractive tan marked youngster just oozing quality, best of heads, with enough strength of muzzle & domed skull, but still feminine, soft brown eyes, neat ears & good bite, super neck & topline which she held throughout, well placed shoulders, correct strength of bone, straight forelegs, good feet, deep chest with good ribs, well covered, good width to hindquarters, moving freely, harsh jacket, so well presented, loved her joy de vivre attitude, which was sadly knocked before the BOB challenge. CC.

PGB (3)

1 Wonnacott’s Jacott Joy Bells, edged this class on her ringcraft, as all had different qualities. Head not as balanced as 2 but good width between ears, & expressive dark eyes. Optimum length of neck, fitting into super shoulder placement, level topline, good rear, lovely coat quality in full bloom, moved with style;

2 Johnson’s Cibach Certain Smile at Kyntilly, most improved bitch since I last saw her, her plus points are her size, beautiful head, super neck & shoulders & lovely textured coat which was presented in top class condition, but for me she is a little too long in coupling & poor in topline;

3 Trezese-Dundas’s Cibach Cheeky Chops at Firstwish.

LB (2)

1 Wonnacott’s Jacott Moonlight Serenade, mature with super neck & shoulders, good head, lovely harsh coat, to be picky I would like her a shade smaller, just a little too heavy for me;

2 Jones’ Tommarv Ruby Sunday, pretty moving well with handler, shoulders not her fortune being a little upright, shortening her neck. However, she is of correct size, balanced in head proportions with correct textured coat.

OB (4)

1 Lewis’ Ch Nomis Numero Uno, really looked the part, lovely for size, beautiful coat of correct texture, put down with not a hair out of place, fair head, neat well set ears, good neck leading into good shoulder placement, level topline, good rear, moved well with attitude! Loved her size but needs substance too, which lost her the challenge. RCC;

2 Tobijanski’s Zippor Break A Leg, low to ground white with good head, coat not as harsh as some, free & easy mover. A little too long in back for me spoiling her balance.
