SEALYHAM RICHMOND 14 Judge: Mrs Margaret Longmate (Pendali) BEST OF BREED : 2333 NEWBURY Mrs E Eleighwater Araminta DO YOU WISH THAT THE KENNEL CLUB WOULD PUT IT'S OWN HOUSE IN ORDER? SEALYHAM JUDGE RICHMOND 14 Sealyham Terriers I am sorry for the delay of this report, but it was not received by Dog World. I can only assume it got lost in the post. PD (1) 1 Wonnacott’s Polrose Pied Piper at Jacott, 10 months old, good in head, mouth & jaw. OK in shoulders & topline. In good coat & well presented. Just looks a bit too long in body at present. Won BP as he is more mature at the moment than his litter sister in the PB class. JD (1) 1 Mills’ Zipper Snowman Joe of Blackthorpe, all white dog, good mouth, ears & eyes. Good front, spring of rib & rear quarters. Ideally would like a bit more length of body. Well presented & coat of coarse texture. Moved with drive. LD (1) A. OD (3,1a) 1 Bettis’ Ch Polrose Parker Plus Ornella, blue marked dog to whom I awarded RCC when a puppy. Still like him now he has matured. Pleasing in head, neck & shoulders. Good bite & strong jaw. Tail well set. Moved well coming & going. CC; 2 Wonnacott’s Ch Whitepepper’s Saturday Night Fever at Jacott, unmarked dog, wel presented & in coarse coat. Dark eyes, well placed ears but just a bit small in head for overall size & balance. Good substance & moved with drive. Would like him a little lower to ground & more oblong. RCC. PB (1) 1 Bettis’ Polrose Passion Flower for Ornella, loved this little white bitch. Nice head & front quarters, good bite, ear placement & dark eyes. Level topline, pleasing in outline. Coarse coat texture. Moved with enthusiasm. Still immature but I expect her to develop into a very nice bitch & will watch her progress closely. JB (1) 1 Banks’ Amberwheat’s Hope ‘N’ Smile with Willowaire, nice sized bitch with pleasing outline. In good coat & well presented. Correct bite & well placed ears. Level topline which was maintained on the move. Good front & moved well with drive. PGB (2) A difficult decision in this class. 1 Trezise-Dundas’ Cibach Cheeky Chops at Firstwish, nicely made bitch with pleasing head, mouth, eyes & ears. Good in front & rear quarters. Low to ground & level topline. Just a bit short in body length. Better presentation would be to her advantage, also she was not in good coat today; 2 Sands’ Seasmolt French Connection with Krokenexis, all white bitch with better coarse coat & overall presentation than 1. However she was high off the ground & not the oblong shape required by the Standard. Dark eyes, well placed ears, good mouth & strong jaw. Moved with drive. LB (2) 1 Newbury’s Eleighwater Araminta, beautifully presented bitch in good textured coat. Good in head & correct bite, well placed shoulders, correct oblong shape & level topline, well balanced. Moved with drive. A very nice quality bitch. CC & BOB; 2 Trezise-Dundas’ Cibach Carys at Firstwish, nice size & low to ground. OK in head, mouth & ears. Shoulders well placed & good spring of rib. Slightly short in neck. Coat texture & presentation could be better. OB (4,2) 1 Wonnacott’s Ch Jacott Joy Bells, very well presented blue marked bitch with coarse textured coat. Nice head, good bite, neck, shoulder placement & spring of rib. Just a little high off the ground & could do with being a little longer in body. Moved well. RCC; 2 Tobijanski’s Zipper Break A Leg, unmarked bitch with good length of head but just a bit coarse in skull. Correct bite & strong jaw, nice dark eyes, level topline & moved with drive but slightly narrow in front. Presented in clean condition but would like a coarser texture to the coat.
