SEALYHAM JUDGE RICHMOND 16

Sealyham Terriers

Many thanks go to the officers & committee for their kind invitation to judge, & to my stewards who did an excellent job. Although small in numbers the quality was excellent & thank you to all the exhibitors who braved the miserable weather & also those that had travelled from overseas. All your dogs were well presented & in lovely clean condition, it was a pleasure to go over. Delighted to see my BOB get shortlisted to the last 8 in the group.

1 Smith’s Charmer’s Marvel, this young man has certainly improved lately & now is now coming together nicely, head of good make & shape with pleasing reach of neck & good shoulders, good forechest, lovely topline which he held well on the move, well muscled, really good jacket & lovely presentation, handled with a minimum of fuss to get everything from him, showed well, pleased to award him the RCC.

1 Wonnacott’s Ch Polrose Pied Piper at Jacott, a dog whose quality is in no doubt. A top draw young man who is full of substance & was handled to perfection today. Lovely well balanced head with a super expression, clean neck & shoulders, good depth of chest, firm, super topline with good tailset, not overdone in any way, excellent coat with perfect presentation, covered the ground with tremendous style with sound & purposeful strides. Never stopped showing, presented a classic picture. Lost a little concentration in his movement in the challenge. CC.

1 Sacco Allevamento Saore’s Saore Naughty Princess, what a sweetie, although she stood alone & a little apprehensive you could not deny this little lady her place, a lovely prospect, good head with melting expressive eyes, correct length of neck & well set shoulders, well boned, a sound front & good angulation throughout, great tailset & carriage, excellent coat & presentation. Sympathetically handled & moved OK when settled. BP.

1 Evans’ Nileda Great Expectations, a nice type of bitch with lots of pleasing attributes, super feminine head with nice dark eye, good reach of neck, enough spring of rib, good tailset & quarters, well balanced in outline, superb coat texture & beautiful presentation, very smartly handled, her movement was not at its best today, a shame as I have seen her go much better;

2 Trezise-Dundas’ Firstwish Blossom Hill, nice pretty head with good expression, good bite, nice length of neck & depth of chest, good shoulders, nice front, good width over quarters, low to ground, a little shy at first on the move but gaining confidence, well handled.

LB (2)

1 Wonnacott’s Jacott Jubilee Queen, a super type with star potential which showed in her happy smooth & sound movement, pretty feminine head, lovely neck leading into a good layback of shoulders, well angulated throughout without exaggeration, good spring of rib, nice topline & tailset, very attentive to handler who always gets the best from her dogs. RCC;

2 Trezise-Dundas’ Cibach Carys at Firstwish, another nice sized young lady with lots to like, not in her best outfit today but shows lots of promise, nice feminine head with a good eye, good reach of neck & shoulders, good depth to chest, nicely angulated front & rear with good bone, nice tailset, sound in movement.

OB (4)

1 Bank’s Ch Amberwheat’s Hope ‘n’ Smile with Willowaire, a bitch with the most beautiful head & expression, all so feminine, super length of neck into good shoulders, lovely depth of chest, great topline, everything in proportion, beautifully presented and handled as always, super on the move with a natural aura of both quiet confidence & charisma, owner should be very proud of this smart young lady, put up a flawless performance in group to be shortlisted to the final 8. Well done. CC & BOB;

2 Amaturo’s Talao Melekalikimaka, another nice pretty bitch with lots to like, feminine head, with nice eye & good earset, ample length of neck and shoulder, nice depth to body with correct angulations, well held topline, good tailset, moved very well with drive, lost a little coat in places but it is of great texture. A smart little lady;

3 Matthew’s Eleighwater Almira at Leomona.
